Fecal Collection Mobile Toilet

Admin September 22, 2026

The fecal collection mobile toilet is a type of mobile toilet equipped with fecal collection and treatment functions, suitable for various venues. It can be classified into dry-packing type, waterless-packing type, and waterless biological treatment fertilizer-making type based on the treatment method.

I. Core Functions and Structural Composition

The core function of the fecal collection mobile toilet is to achieve harmless collection and resource utilization of feces, avoiding dependence on water sources and sewer pipes as traditional toilets do. Its basic structure includes a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal device), floor, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. Among them, the fecal collection function mainly relies on two types of technologies:

  1. Physical Sealing Collection: The dry-packing type and waterless-packing type use biodegradable film packaging bags, mechanical traction devices, and fecal storage buckets to automatically seal and package excreta, preventing odor leakage. These toilets do not require a water source or sewer pipes, making them suitable for water-scarce or temporary use scenarios.
  2. Biodegradation Treatment: The waterless biological treatment fertilizer-making type is equipped with a biochemical reactor that utilizes microorganisms to decompose feces into humic organic fertilizer. The treated urine is used as liquid fertilizer, achieving resource recycling.

II. Main Types and Technical Characteristics

  1. Dry-Packing Mobile Toilet
    • Technical Principle: A mechanical device triggers a biodegradable film packaging bag to seal feces in the storage bucket, with no water flushing operation throughout the process.
    • Advantages: Zero water demand, no odor leakage, and large fecal storage bucket capacity (capable of accommodating multiple uses), suitable for arid regions or temporary event venues.
  2. Waterless Flush Ecological Toilet
    • Waterless-Packing Type: Similar to the dry-packing type, but emphasizes the use of eco-friendly materials, such as biodegradable film instead of traditional plastic bags, to reduce environmental pollution.
    • Waterless Biological Treatment Fertilizer-Making Type: Through microbial decomposition technology, feces are converted into organic fertilizer, and urine is filtered for use in green irrigation, achieving zero waste discharge, suitable for eco-tourism areas or agricultural projects.

III. Application Scenarios and Advantages

The fecal collection mobile toilet is widely used in stations, docks, tourist attractions, large construction sites, and other venues due to its mobility, economic durability, and environmental friendliness. Its advantages include:

  • Compensating for the lack of fixed public toilets: Quickly deployed in areas with high foot traffic but weak infrastructure.
  • Adapting to complex environments: No need to connect to sewer pipes, making it usable in water-scarce areas such as deserts and mountains.
  • Resource recycling: Biological treatment toilets convert feces into fertilizer, reducing treatment costs and pollution.

IV. Design Principles and Material Selection

The design of such toilets follows the principles of lightweight, modularization, and corrosion resistance. The main structure is made of high-strength plastic or aluminum alloy materials, equipped with wheeled or towed mobile devices for easy transportation and assembly. Meanwhile, water-saving designs are selected for internal sanitary ware to further reduce water consumption.
