How to Install a Fecal Box Mobile Toilet
The installation of a fecal box mobile toilet should follow a standardized process of positioning, assembly, connection, and commissioning. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Positioning and Foundation Preparation
Determine the installation location based on site planning, prioritizing areas with a solid ground surface and good drainage. If the ground is soft (such as muddy or backfilled soil), lay a 10-15 cm thick layer of wooden planks or gravel in advance to ensure even load distribution on the chassis and prevent settlement. Additionally, reserve positions for water and electricity connections as well as sewage pipes. For integrated box-type toilets, plan the lifting path as well.
2. Chassis and Frame Placement
Use a forklift or crane to place the prefabricated steel structure chassis smoothly at the predetermined location. Adjust the height difference of the four corners of the chassis to no more than 5 mm using a level. For split-type toilets, install the frame structure simultaneously, ensuring that the verticality error of the columns is less than 0.5°, and secure the connection between the chassis and the frame with bolts.
3. Wall and Roof Panel Installation
Insert the sandwich panel wallboards into the chassis slots one by one. Fix each wallboard with bolts or hidden clips, and fill the gaps with waterproof sealant. When installing the roof panels, pay attention to the slope design (usually ≥3%) to ensure natural rainwater drainage. This step can be omitted for integrated box-type toilets as their wall and roof panels have been assembled in the factory.
4. Internal Facility Connection
- Fecal Box System: When installing the fecal box, confirm that its capacity meets the design requirements (usually 200-500L). Connect the sewage pipe to the municipal pipeline or septic tank, and use rubber seals at the pipe ends to prevent leakage.
- Water and Electricity Systems: Connect the water inlet pipe (install a check valve) and the electrical circuit (use a waterproof junction box). The modular quick-connect design can shorten the connection time to within 30 minutes.
- Functional Components: Install toilets, flushing devices, sinks, etc. For environmentally friendly toilets, add a bacterial inoculum投放口 (such as for biodegradable toilets).
5. Functional Inspection and Commissioning
- Seal Test: Fill the fecal box with water to 80% of its capacity and observe for 24 hours for any leakage.
- Flush Test: Flush continuously 10 times to confirm smooth drainage and no odor backflow.
- Circuit Test: Use an insulation resistance tester to check the insulation of the circuit and ensure that the grounding resistance is <4Ω.
Installation Standards: The installation must comply with the requirements of the Mobile Toilet Hygiene Standard (GB/T 21239-2023), including structural load-bearing capacity ≥200kg/m², ventilation volume ≥8m³/h·person, and other indicators. The overall installation time for an integrated box-type toilet can be shortened to 2-4 hours, while a split-type toilet requires 6-8 hours to complete the entire process.
