Features of Dinghu Container Houses
Dinghu container houses feature a solid structure, versatile functions, flexible customization, and eco-friendly economy.

1. Structural Design and Materials The base structure of Dinghu container houses is welded from high-strength steel, with main beams 3.0 mm thick, ensuring an overall load-bearing capacity of 150 kg/m2. Walls use a double-layer design filled with 50 mm-150 mm of glass wool or rock wool insulation, covered externally with electrostatically powder-coated steel sheet (colors available in standard RAL ranges such as RAL9002 grey-white). Roofs are dual-treated with polyurethane sealing panels and PE moisture-proof film for both thermal insulation and moisture resistance.
2. Functional Features and Technical Advantages
- Strong adaptability: A single unit covers 18 m2 and can be joined to expand to any scale, meeting diverse needs such as temporary offices, accommodation, and storage.
- High safety: The steel frame and quake-resistant design can withstand magnitude-8 earthquakes; wall panels have Class A fire rating and meet temporary construction standards. Floor load capacity is 150 kg/m2, wind resistance is Grade 11, seismic resistance is Grade 7, and fire resistance is Grade 3.
- Easy installation: Standardized components are bolted together without heavy machinery; a 3-4 person team can assemble a single unit in one day. The sealed design with rock-wool insulation can cut energy use by more than 30%.
- Long service life: Galvanized components last up to 20 years, support up to 6 disassembly/reassembly cycles with only about 6% loss each time, and generate no construction waste.
- Efficient transport and storage: A single standard unit weighs 2 tons; a 17.5 m flatbed truck can load 12 sets at once, and a 40-foot container can carry 350 m2 of panel buildings, greatly reducing logistics costs.
- Green and eco-friendly: Materials are recyclable with low loss rates, aligning with low-carbon building principles.
3. Customization and Flexibility Users can choose design-to-drawing, OEM, or ODM services to adjust house size, layout, color, and interior finishes. For example, partitions can create functional zones, and solar panels can be integrated for off-grid power. Door, window, and interior partition positions can be set freely to meet personalized needs.
4. Other Performance The houses have a clean, attractive look and high construction efficiency (averaging 20-30 m2 installed per person per day). Normal service life ranges from 3-16 years, with installation speed of 100 m2/day and disassembly speed of 70 m2/day. They adapt well to varied environments and are widely used for economical temporary building projects.
