Ezhou Street Mobile Toilets

Admin September 23, 2026

Mobile toilets on the streets of Ezhou are mainly divided into two categories: leased standardized mobile toilets and single-unit mobile toilets. Meanwhile, the city is also advancing the construction of fixed public toilets to meet diverse needs.

Leased Standardized Mobile Toilets: Ezhou has a specialized leasing service market that can meet the short-term needs of events such as marathons, concerts, music festivals, and construction sites. Its core consists of sanitary unit modules, storage, transportation, and maintenance support systems, as well as site adaptation technology. The sanitary units are molded in one piece using high-strength composite materials, equipped with standard interfaces for quick assembly and expansion. The storage and transportation system is responsible for transportation, waste disposal, and cleaning. The site adaptation technology can quickly assess geological flatness, drainage paths, and electrical conditions, and make simple modifications. Advantages include controllability and standardization. Standardized products adhere to technical specifications in terms of leakage prevention, ventilation, and microbial control, reducing environmental pollution and public health risks. The uniform appearance helps maintain order at the site. They also have high resource utilization efficiency, avoiding long-term fixed investments. During idle periods, they can be stored centrally, and their utilization rate can be improved by serving different customers. The standardized design facilitates component replacement and overall recycling.

Single-Unit Mobile Toilets: These mainly serve short-term or temporary gathering scenarios, such as outdoor construction, large markets, sports events, or emergency shelters. Their core attribute is independent operation, not relying on underground sewage pipes. They integrate a waste storage tank (with a capacity of 200 to 500 liters), a flushing system (manual or electric pump), and a simple ventilation device. They have strong physical mobility, with the main body made of high-strength plastic or fiberglass-reinforced plastic, weighing 80 to 150 kilograms. The bottom is equipped with lifting points, forklift slots, or rollers for easy transportation or short-distance movement. Usage procedures include selecting the placement method according to site conditions (direct placement on hardened surfaces, or laying wooden or steel plates on soft ground to prevent sinking), filling with water, adding deodorizing liquid, and checking the sealing of the drainage outlet after installation. During the service period, the lessor usually cleans the waste every 24 to 48 hours. Leasing costs are affected by the leasing duration, cleaning frequency, and transportation distance. Taking the local market in Ezhou as an example, the daily rent for a single leasing within 7 days is 80 to 150 yuan (including initial installation and basic cleaning), with an additional charge of 50 to 80 yuan per cleaning per day, and a one-way transportation fee of 100 to 200 yuan within the urban area.

Fixed Public Toilet Construction: In recent years, Ezhou City has been promoting the "Public Toilet Revolution," renovating 57 old public toilets in the main urban area, building 22 new urban public toilets, and opening 61 public toilets in administrative institutions and public units for free. These public toilets have novel designs, reasonable layouts, and user-friendly facilities. Some are equipped with barrier-free facilities to meet the needs of special groups.
