Ezhou Foam-Sealed Portable Toilet

Admin October 05, 2026

The Ezhou foam-sealed portable toilet is a mobile sanitation facility that uses foam to cover waste, achieving water conservation and odor isolation, suitable for temporary, mobile, or emergency scenarios.

Working Principle

This toilet utilizes a built-in micro-foam generator to convert a small amount of specialized foaming agent into a dense foam layer that covers the toilet surface. The foam effectively isolates waste from air contact, suppresses odor diffusion, and reduces the need for flushing water, with a single flush using only 1% to 2% of the water required by traditional toilets. Waste is temporarily stored in a sealed collection tank below and is regularly transported and disposed of by rental agencies using suction trucks to prevent secondary pollution.

Technical Features

Outstanding Water Conservation: The foam coverage technology significantly reduces water consumption, making it suitable for areas with water scarcity or no municipal water supply. Easy Maintenance: The system has a simple structure with a low failure rate, requiring only regular replenishment of foaming agent and cleaning of the collection tank. Effective Odor Isolation: The foam layer forms a physical barrier, and when combined with the sealed collection tank, ensures an odor-free restroom environment.

Materials and Structure

The toilet body is primarily made of two materials: High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is corrosion-resistant but can become brittle with prolonged exposure to sunlight; Fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) offers better impact resistance but is heavier, increasing transportation costs. Some products use a metal frame for structural reinforcement, with hot-dip galvanizing applied to metal components to prevent rust at joints.

Climate Adaptability

Low Winter Temperatures (e.g., Ezhou's average January temperature of 4°C to 8°C) may reduce foaming efficiency, necessitating adjustments to the foaming agent formula or the addition of heating devices. High Summer Temperatures require attention to roof shading and heat insulation design (e.g., polyethylene foam filling panels), as internal temperatures may exceed 40°C without such measures, affecting user comfort.

Application Scenarios

Suitable for temporary venues such as large exhibitions, outdoor events, and construction sites, as well as emergency relief efforts after natural disasters and temporary sanitation facilities in remote areas. Its water-saving, eco-friendly, and easy-to-deploy characteristics make it an upgraded alternative to traditional portable toilets.
