Export Container House Insulation

Admin September 15, 2026

The insulation of export container houses is primarily achieved through the use of high-quality insulation materials, optimized structural design, and enhanced sealing performance.

Use of High-Quality Insulation Materials

The key to insulating container houses lies in selecting appropriate insulation materials. Common insulation materials include rock wool sandwich panels, polystyrene foam, and rigid polyurethane foam. Rock wool sandwich panels offer excellent insulation, fire resistance, and soundproofing properties, making them widely used in steel-structured modular houses. Polystyrene foam and rigid polyurethane foam are favored for their superior thermal insulation effects and are used in the walls and roofs of container houses. For instance, increasing the thickness of the foam during container house construction can significantly enhance insulation performance and reduce heat exchange between the interior and exterior.

Optimized Structural Design

In addition to insulation materials, the structural design of container houses also significantly impacts their insulation performance. Bridge-cut inner lining structures are an effective design approach that involves filling hard polyurethane foam between the steel frame and interior wall panels and installing rubber thermal insulation pads at the frame connections. This design significantly reduces heat exchange efficiency between the interior and exterior of the container, minimizing heat conduction channels through the steel frame and improving overall insulation. Furthermore, double-layer steel plate sandwich structures are widely used in container houses, utilizing an air layer or insulation material layer between two steel plates to effectively block external temperature influences.

Enhanced Sealing Performance

The sealing performance of container houses is equally crucial. Good sealing prevents air infiltration and reduces heat loss. During the manufacturing process of container houses, attention should be paid to container sealing and ventilation system design to ensure stable performance in tropical humid or cold low-temperature environments. For example, using reinforced steel structural frames and specially treated connection nodes can enhance overall stability and durability while improving sealing effects.
