Selection of Portable Toilets for Events
Admin October 01, 2026
The selection of portable toilets for events should be based on a comprehensive consideration of usage scenarios, material quality, sewage disposal methods, and functional configurations, as detailed below:

1. Matching Styles Based on Event Types
- Short-term, high-density events (such as sports competitions, exhibitions, team-building activities): Prioritize multi-compartment portable toilets with an adequate number of stalls to quickly alleviate instantaneous toilet pressure and improve personnel turnover efficiency.
- Temporary construction or short-term projects: Simple steel-structured portable toilets are structurally stable and easy to assemble and disassemble, suitable for scenarios with high personnel turnover and short usage periods.
- Sites without a pipeline network (such as suburban camping grounds): Pipeline-free ecological portable toilets do not require complex civil engineering, with sewage disposal designs that are leak-proof and easy to clean, reducing long-term maintenance costs.
2. Focusing on Material Quality and Craftsmanship
- Main frame: Prioritize hot-dip galvanized square steel welded frames, which offer strong resistance to wind, sunlight, and corrosion, and are less likely to deform or rust during long-term outdoor use; avoid thin iron sheets or thin-walled square tubes, which are prone to loosening and rusting.
- Exterior wall panels:
- Metal embossed panels: Provide thermal insulation, waterproofing, and corrosion resistance, suitable for scenic spots, municipal areas, and other scenarios with high aesthetic requirements;
- Color steel panels: Lightweight and cost-effective, suitable for short-term use on construction sites;
- Fiberglass: Molded as a whole, waterproof and moisture-proof, with relatively high cost-effectiveness, but slightly weaker impact resistance.
- Internal configurations: Must include non-slip floors, odor-resistant ceramic fixtures, ventilation equipment, energy-saving lighting, and privacy door locks; sealing techniques and odor-resistant designs are crucial to prevent odors and insect infestations.
3. Selecting Sewage Disposal Methods Based on Site Conditions
- Sites with water supply and sewage pipelines: Flush toilets offer better cleaning effects and a more pleasant experience;
- Sites without water or electricity: Packaged or microbial degradation toilets do not require flushing, suitable for remote areas;
- Foam toilets: Use foam to cover feces and block odors, but require electricity, suitable for scenarios with high hygiene requirements.
4. Focusing on Functional Configurations and Cost-effectiveness
- Basic functions: Meet toilet needs only, avoiding excessive pursuit of high-end configurations (such as air conditioning) that increase costs;
- Non-slip and ventilation: Use non-slip mats or floor coverings to ensure smooth drainage; ventilation systems should include exhaust fans or vents;
- Beware of low-price traps: Low-priced products may cut corners on materials or craftsmanship, requiring a comprehensive consideration of procurement costs, expected lifespan, and maintenance expenses to select the solution with the lowest total cost of ownership.
5. Selecting Reputable Suppliers
Evaluate supplier qualifications, successful cases, and user reviews, and clarify warranty periods and after-sales service terms (such as 24-hour response and spare parts support).
