Images of European Prefabricated Panel Houses
Currently, we cannot directly provide images of European prefabricated panel houses, but we can introduce relevant information about them.

Germany is a representative country in Europe in terms of the construction of prefabricated panel houses. An early example of prefabricated architecture in Germany is the Splangmann residential area built in the Lichtenberg-Friedrichsfelde district of Berlin between 1926 and 1930. This project includes 138 residential units, with buildings mainly consisting of two to three floors. It employed large-scale on-site prefabricated concrete multi-layer composite panel components, with the heaviest component weighing up to 7 tons. This construction method was innovative at the time and laid the foundation for the subsequent development of prefabricated architecture.
In the Lichtenberg district of Berlin, there are gray prefabricated panel building complexes known as 'Plattenbau'. The world's earliest building constructed with prefabricated concrete panels in Germany is located in Lichtenberg, namely the Splangmann residential area built between 1926 and 1930 as mentioned earlier, which used on-site cast prefabricated concrete panels. During the East German period, this method of on-site assembly using prefabricated concrete panels was widely promoted, forming a certain scale of prefabricated panel building complexes.
As time passed and technology advanced, the construction of prefabricated panel houses in Europe continued to progress. For example, in May 2026, the Landsberger Allee project in Lichtenberg held a 'Stacking Celebration'. This project includes 1,548 apartments and uses 3,289 modules, claiming to be the largest modular residential project in Europe at present. These modules come from the newly built factory of Daiwa House Modular Europe in Fürstenwalde near Berlin. Each module has a prefabrication rate of up to 90%, reflecting the high efficiency and precision characteristics of modern prefabricated panel house construction.
