Especially Dirty Mobile Toilet

Admin October 08, 2026

An especially dirty mobile toilet is mainly reflected in two aspects: poor toilet-using experience and aging and malfunctioning equipment.

In terms of the toilet-using experience, there is a situation akin to 'opening a mystery box'. Some citizens have reported that the 'vacant' light is on above the door of a mobile public toilet, but when they open the door, they find the squat toilet is full. This situation seriously affects the normal use by citizens, causing great inconvenience and psychological discomfort to toilet users. Originally, seeing the 'vacant' sign, people would naturally assume they could use the toilet smoothly. However, the scene behind the door is vastly different from expectations. This sense of disparity not only ruins the using experience but may also put the user in an embarrassing situation. Moreover, this inaccurate status display reflects loopholes in the management and maintenance of mobile public toilets, as they fail to update the toilet's usage status information in a timely manner, resulting in a disconnect between the information and the actual situation.

Regarding the equipment, some mobile public toilets have aging and malfunctioning issues. Taking the mobile public toilet on Haiyuncang Hutong as an example, its sensor is malfunctioning, and the cleaning staff has to manually operate the flushing, and this problem has not been effectively resolved for a long time. As an important piece of equipment in mobile public toilets, a malfunctioning sensor reduces the convenience and hygiene level of use. Under normal circumstances, the sensor can automatically sense the usage situation and complete operations such as flushing, reducing manual intervention and contact and improving hygiene standards. However, when the sensor malfunctions, not only does the cleaning staff have to operate it manually, increasing their workload, but improper or untimely operation may also lead to a deterioration in the toilet's hygiene. The long-term failure to resolve this issue indicates a lack of timeliness and effectiveness in equipment maintenance and updates by the relevant management departments. They have not conducted regular inspections and timely repairs of the equipment in mobile public toilets, allowing minor problems to gradually accumulate into major issues that affect usage.
