Size of Environmental Protection Mobile Toilets

Admin September 20, 2026

The common standard sizes of eco-friendly mobile toilets are designed according to usage scenarios and functional requirements, mainly divided into three categories: single-unit, double-unit, and multi-functional, with customized cases also available. The design must comply with ergonomic and industry standards.

The standard size of a single-unit mobile toilet is 1.2-1.5 meters in length, 1.0-1.2 meters in width, and 2.2-2.5 meters in height. This type of toilet has a compact structure and is suitable for scenarios with limited space and low usage frequency, such as temporary use at construction sites or emergency needs for small outdoor events. Its design must ensure that the width of the toilet cubicle is not less than 0.9 meters to meet ergonomic requirements and avoid a cramped feeling for users.

The standard size of a double-unit mobile toilet is 2.4-3.0 meters in length, 1.2-1.5 meters in width, and 2.2-2.5 meters in height. By increasing the horizontal space, this type can accommodate two independent toilet cubicles or one toilet cubicle and one management room, making it suitable for crowded places such as large events and tourist attractions. The extension of its length can effectively disperse the flow of people and reduce queuing time, while the width design must take into account both passage convenience and structural stability.

The standard size of a multi-functional mobile toilet is 3.0-4.5 meters in length, 2.0-2.5 meters in width, and 2.5-3.0 meters in height. This type of toilet offers more comprehensive functions. In addition to basic toilet cubicles, it may integrate barrier-free facilities, management rooms, storage rooms, or third toilets, making it suitable for high-end events and long-term fixed locations (such as commercial areas and transportation hubs) that have high requirements for comfort and functionality. The increase in its height can optimize ventilation effects, while the expansion of its width facilitates equipment layout and maintenance.

In addition, there are customized cases to meet special needs. For example, the mini smart public toilet designed for urban parks and scenic spots has a width of 1.15 meters and a height of 2.45 meters, achieving efficient space utilization through modular design; the assembled mobile toilet can be up to 2.5 meters by 6.5 meters in size, using prefabricated components for rapid assembly, suitable for temporary large-scale events or post-disaster reconstruction. All designs must comply with the 'Urban Public Toilet Design Standard' (CJJ 14-2016) to ensure basic requirements such as hygiene, safety, and barrier-free access.
