Emei Mountain Hotel Container House
There is a container-style tourism service facility construction project in the Emei Mountain scenic area, which includes temporary accommodation units and can be regarded as the application of container houses in hotel scenarios. Here is the specific information:

I. Basic Project Information
The full name of the project is the "Emei Mountain Scenic Area Container-Style Tourism Service Facility Construction Project". It is located in a designated area within the scenic area of Emei Mountain City, Sichuan Province, covering a total land area of approximately 10,000 square meters and a building area of about 5,000 square meters. The project adopts a modular container combination structure, primarily using standard container modules with dimensions of 3m×6m. A total of 120 containers are used, with a maximum of 2 floors. Some parts of the project feature cantilevered designs to meet viewing needs. Its functional positioning is a comprehensive service facility integrating tourism consultation, ticket processing, catering services, emergency accommodation, and medical assistance, with a designed service life of 15 years.
II. Core Characteristics of Container Houses
- Rapid Construction and Flexibility
The prefabrication rate of container modules in the factory reaches 85%, and the on-site assembly cycle is only one-third of that of traditional buildings, significantly shortening the construction time. The modular combination method supports functional zoning adjustments, allowing for re-layout or overall relocation in the later stages according to changes in tourist flow, adapting to the dynamic needs of the scenic area. - Ecological Compatibility
Recyclable steel and eco-friendly building materials are used, with the depth of ground surface disruption by the foundation works controlled to within 0.5 meters, meeting the conservation requirements for Emei Mountain, a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site. During the construction period, the soil excavation recycling rate reaches 100%, and the use of non-eco-friendly materials such as clay bricks is prohibited. The noise control standard is set at below 55dB during the day and 45dB at night. - Structural Adaptability
For the gently sloping mountain terrain (with a maximum slope of 12°), the project adopts a stepped foundation treatment. In response to the climatic conditions of Emei Mountain, which include an average annual precipitation of 1,555mm, summer rainstorms, and winter rime, enhanced waterproofing, wind resistance (with a basic wind pressure of 0.35kN/m²), and thermal insulation designs are implemented to ensure the durability and safety of the houses.
III. Implementation Method of Accommodation Function
The "temporary accommodation units" in the project form independent accommodation spaces through the combination of container modules, equipped with basic living facilities to meet the emergency accommodation needs of tourists. Their modular design allows for the addition or reduction of unit quantities according to actual needs, flexibly responding to differences in tourist flow between peak and off-peak seasons.
