Types of Ecological Intelligent Mobile Toilets

Admin September 28, 2026

Ecological intelligent mobile toilets can be primarily classified into waterless flushing, water-saving, and recirculating water flushing types based on different technological principles, incorporating innovative technologies such as microbial degradation and intelligent systems. Details are as follows:

Waterless Flushing Ecological Toilets:
This type does not rely on a water source and is suitable for scenarios with water scarcity or without water supply and drainage pipes.

  • Waterless Packaging Type: The core consists of packaging bags made of biodegradable film, mechanical devices, and fecal storage tanks. Excrement is automatically packaged and sealed by a traction device, preventing odor leakage without the need for a water source or pipes throughout the process.
  • Waterless Biological Treatment for Fertilizer Production Type: Equipped with a biochemical reactor containing replenishable biological fillers. Feces decompose and ferment under the action of microorganisms to produce humic organic fertilizer; urine is converted into liquid fertilizer after treatment, achieving resource utilization.
  • Waterless Flushable Type: Urine and feces are separated by a urine-feces separator. Urine is collected and treated with special agents to form an odorless light blue liquid used as a flushing solution; feces mixed with the flushing solution turn into an odorless pulp-like fluid, reducing odor diffusion.

Water-Saving Ecological Toilets:
Significantly reduce water consumption by optimizing flushing methods, suitable for scenarios with limited water resources but requiring a certain level of cleanliness.

  • Foam Sealing Type: Uses foam generated by foaming liquid instead of water for flushing, achieving a water-saving rate of over 90%. The foam covers the toilet surface, isolating odors and reducing excrement adhesion, providing good cleaning effects.
  • Vacuum Self-Priming Type: Relies on the air pressure difference between the toilet and the sewage pipe to quickly suck fecal sewage into storage or treatment devices. The water consumption per flush is only 0.5 to 1 liter, much lower than that of traditional water-flushing toilets.

Recirculating Water Flushing Ecological Toilets:
Achieve water resource recycling through treatment technologies, suitable for scenarios with high environmental protection requirements.

  • Biological Treatment Type: Decomposes organic matter in feces and urine through electrocatalytic reactions, converting it into carbon dioxide and water. The treated clean water is reused for toilet flushing or landscaping. This type does not require an external power supply and relies on solar power, achieving a closed-loop water cycle.
  • Membrane Separation Type: Uses membrane technology to separate the supernatant from feces and urine, producing clean water for reuse; feces are prepared into organic fertilizer through fermentation, balancing water resource conservation with waste resource utilization.
