Easy-to-Assemble Portable Toilet for Home Use

Admin September 27, 2026

There are mainly three solutions for easy-to-assemble portable toilets for home use:

Solution 1: Bucket-Modified Portable Toilet This solution uses a bucket as the core material, achieving functional integration through structural modifications. First, a wooden base with universal wheels is added, and the cut bucket is fixed on it as a water storage or sewage container. Use an angle grinder to cut an opening at the top of the large bucket, wrap the cut edges with wooden boards for reinforcement, and extend and heighten it with aluminum-plastic panels before installing a lid to form an enclosed space. The interior wooden strips are painted white for moisture resistance, and a wooden door is processed and installed on the door frame with hinges. The drainage system connects a bent drain pipe and a floor drain through holes drilled at the bottom, installs water pipe connectors through holes drilled on the sides and bottom, places a green bucket on the top lid as a shower water storage device, and connects a PVC pipe showerhead to the water pipe. For the toilet area, a hole needs to be drilled in the middle of the base as a sewer pipe, and sealant should be applied after installing a new toilet to prevent leaks. This solution is comprehensive in function but requires certain carpentry and plumbing skills, suitable for users with strong hands-on abilities.

Solution 2: Water Storage Tank and Pallet Combination This solution is based on a water storage tank and a plastic pallet, achieving mobility through a simplified structure. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the plastic pallet to form a movable base, and place the water storage tank directly on the pallet as the core container. This solution does not provide detailed information on internal functional divisions (such as toilets and showers) and may require additional accessories, such as external portable toilets or simple shower devices. Its advantages lie in its simple structure and easy availability of materials, but its functional completeness is relatively low, suitable for scenarios with low space requirements and only basic sewage discharge functions.

Solution 3: Japanese Nendo Portable Toilet This solution adopts a modular design, emphasizing lightweight and portability. The main body consists of a C-shaped seat ring, four lightweight aluminum rods, garbage bags, lightweight canvas, a coagulant, and a backpack. The backpack can store 16 liters of water. During assembly, the garbage bag is fixed on the C-shaped seat ring as a sewage container, the aluminum rods support the frame, and the canvas is worn like a raincoat to provide privacy protection. If paired with an umbrella, it can form a temporary shelter space with the canvas. When in use, the coagulant can quickly solidify excrement, reducing odors. This solution does not require pipeline connections, suitable for outdoor or emergency scenarios, but requires regular replacement of garbage bags and has relatively low comfort.

Selection Suggestions: If you pursue functional completeness and have hands-on abilities, Solution 1 is more suitable; if you need quick setup and have low functional requirements, Solution 2 can be used as a transitional choice; if you focus on portability and emergency use, Solution 3 has more advantages. Before implementation, evaluate the difficulty of obtaining materials, hands-on skills, and the requirements of the usage scenario.
