Easy Mobile Toilet
Admin September 22, 2026
An easy mobile toilet can be made by combining a water storage bucket or tank with a pallet, with the specific steps as follows:

I. Water Storage Bucket Production Plan
Basic Structure Construction
- Split the water storage bucket vertically in the middle to form two halves. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for easy mobility; use wooden strips to fix them on the upper side of the bucket to increase height and serve as a support frame.
- Cut an opening on the side of the water storage bucket, install sponge strips to form a door frame, embed plastic soft boards to create raised walls; invert the upper half of the bucket onto the top of the wooden strips as a roof and apply waterproof paint to enhance aesthetics and durability.
Functional Module Installation
- Drainage System: Drill a hole at the bottom of the bucket to install a drain pipe (floor drain), drill holes on the side and bottom to connect direct joints, insert a plastic bucket as a small water storage device, and connect a simple shower made of water pipes.
- Toilet and Handwashing Area: Place the toilet and install a water tank, fix it with glass glue; install a three-way joint below the inlet pipe, extend it horizontally to the doorway as the inlet pipe for the handwashing basin, and drill a hole in the door to connect a hose to make the handwashing basin.
Detail Optimization
- Use foam strips to splice discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door, ensuring airtightness; connect the drain pipe to the sewage bucket to prevent sewage overflow; connect the showerhead to the inlet pipe via a hose to meet basic bathing needs.
II. Water Storage Tank and Pallet Production Plan
Mobile Chassis Construction
- Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the pallet, place a water storage tank recovered from a garbage station, and use an angle grinder to cut along the top marking line to remove the top and form an open tank.
Tank Combination and Opening
- Stack two open-top water storage tanks and fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws; cut a rectangular opening on the side of the tank as a doorway, drill a hole in the internal floor to install a drain elbow, connect a water pipe, and seal the gaps.
Sanitary Facility Installation
- Toilet System: Place the toilet aligned with the drain hole and fix it with glue; connect the water tank to the inlet pipe to ensure the flushing function.
- Handwashing Area: Fix the water pipe with a wall clip, install a faucet, fix a pipe cap with screws below and drill a hole as a drain hole; fix a stainless steel basin on the pipe cap as a handwashing basin and apply glass glue to prevent leaks.
Additional Functions
- Connect the shower hose, install a bracket and a spray-type showerhead; fix hinges on the frame of the water storage tank, connect a wooden board as a door, and install a door handle to enhance usability.
Both plans utilize waste materials and achieve mobility, drainage, toilet use, and simple bathing functions through modular design, suitable for temporary or outdoor scenarios. When making them, pay attention to airtightness (such as the use of glass glue) and structural stability (such as the fixation of universal wheels) to ensure safety and durability.
