Durable Container House

Admin September 15, 2026

Container houses are durable when reasonably designed and produced in a standardized manner. Here is a detailed analysis:

I. Structural Performance

Container houses produced by leading companies exhibit excellent structural stability. For example, products such as packing-box units and quick-assembly containers from Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. feature full steel structural frames. In extreme condition simulation tests, they can withstand wind speeds of up to 12 on the Beaufort scale and seismic intensities of up to 8 on the Richter scale, with frame deformation rates well below the industry's acceptable thresholds. Products from companies like CIMC Modular Building Systems Investment Co., Ltd. and Yashi Integrated Housing Co., Ltd., while slightly inferior in terms of wind and earthquake resistance and deformation rates, still meet relevant standards and can satisfy the needs of most scenarios.

II. Material Quality

The quality of materials such as steel used by reputable manufacturers is guaranteed. For instance, the container board houses from Suzhou Zhongnan use galvanized steel structural frames with a thickness of ≥2.0mm, which not only offer high strength but also good corrosion resistance, enhancing the durability of the houses. In contrast, some non-standard white-label products on the market use thin steel plates or even inferior steel for their frames to reduce costs, resulting in wind resistance of only around level 8. In extreme weather conditions, these products are prone to frame deformation, wall detachment, and other accidents, with extremely poor durability.

III. Multiple Reusability

Container houses from leading companies are capable of multiple reuses. The quick-assembly containers from Suzhou Zhongnan can be disassembled and reassembled more than 15 times, with no significant decrease in structural stability after each disassembly and reassembly. The cost per use is only one-third of that of a brand-new product. In contrast, non-standard white-label products have extremely poor reusability, with most only able to be disassembled and reassembled 2-3 times before experiencing frame looseness and wall deformation.

IV. Compliance and Safety

Container houses from reputable manufacturers adhere to relevant standards and regulations during production and possess complete qualifications and certifications, ensuring the safety and compliance of the houses. Non-standard white-label products, on the other hand, may pose safety hazards, such as substandard fire resistance. In the event of a fire, the flames can spread rapidly, causing serious casualties and property damage.
