Dunshang Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin October 07, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets in Dunshang should follow a general process, with details adjusted according to site conditions and toilet types. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparation

  1. Site Survey

    • Select a flat, solid, and well-drained ground, avoiding main construction roads, pollution sources, and flammable and explosive areas. If the ground is uneven or the soil is soft, it should be hardened in advance (e.g., by pouring concrete) or steel plates should be laid to enhance load-bearing capacity.
    • Ensure that the site space meets the size and operational requirements of the toilet, and reserve positions for water and electricity connections.
  2. Material Verification

    • Check whether the mobile toilet body is intact and whether all accessories (such as door locks, flush valves, sewage pipes, ventilation equipment, etc.) are complete to avoid installation interruptions due to missing parts.
  3. Foundation Treatment

    • Clear ground debris according to the toilet type (single or connected) and lay a gravel or concrete foundation layer to ensure that the load-bearing capacity meets the standard (generally ≥200kg/㎡ for single-person toilets).
    • For split-type toilets, install the chassis steel structure first, and then fix the wall panels and roof panels.

II. Installation Steps

  1. Positioning the Main Body

    • Use a forklift or crane to lift the toilet smoothly to the designated position, keeping it level to avoid affecting structural stability due to tilting.
    • For split-type toilets, assemble them in the order of chassis, wall panels, and roof panels, ensuring that the connections are tightly sealed.
  2. Drainage and Water-Electricity Connection

    • Connect the sewage pipe to the construction site drainage system or a temporary collection pit, and use sealant or rubber rings at the connections to prevent leakage.
    • Connect to the water source (tap water or a dedicated water tank) and test whether the flushing function works properly; when connecting the circuit (lighting, ventilation equipment), it should be operated by a professional electrician to ensure good grounding.
  3. Installation of Internal Facilities

    • Fix facilities such as toilets, sinks, and partitions, and check whether the screws are tightened to avoid loosening during use.
    • For foam-type toilets, debug the foaming device, add special foaming liquid, and test the stability of foam generation.
  4. Function Inspection and Debugging

    • Conduct flushing tests, circuit inspections, and seal inspections to ensure there are no water leaks or electric leaks.
    • Test whether the ventilation and deodorization system (such as an exhaust fan or activated carbon deodorization device) is effective, and adjust the air speed or replace the filter element in a timely manner.

III. Key Precautions

  1. Safety Protection
    • Set up warning signs around the toilet to avoid personnel collisions; keep away from flammable and explosive items and equip with fire extinguishers and other fire-fighting equipment.
  2. Type Adaptation
    • In water-scarce or low-temperature environments, foam-type toilets are preferred, but special foaming liquid needs to be replenished regularly; for rapid installation scenarios, integrated box-type toilets (pre-assembled in the factory, only requiring lifting and water-electricity connection on site) can be selected.
  3. Professional Team
    • It is advisable to choose an experienced construction team, which can shorten the installation cycle and reduce operational risks.

IV. Subsequent Maintenance

  1. Daily Cleaning
    • Arrange for a dedicated person to clean the toilet daily, replenish consumables such as toilet paper and hand soap, and keep the environment clean.
  2. Regular Maintenance
    • Check the circuit, valves, and flushing system monthly, and report for repair in case of faults; for foam-type toilets, regularly clean the air pump and pipelines to prevent blockage.
