How to Install Double-Unit Mobile Toilets

Admin October 12, 2026

The installation of double-unit mobile toilets requires selecting the appropriate method based on the structural design. The installation steps for common double-connected and double-squat (non-connected) structures are as follows:

I. Installation Process for Double-Connected Mobile Toilets

  1. Foundation Preparation

    • Geological Survey: Evaluate the soil's load-bearing capacity and drainage conditions to ensure foundation stability.
    • Concrete Foundation Slab: Use a concrete slab with a flatness error of ≤5mm as the support platform. Pre-embed sewage pipe interfaces (with a pipe diameter increased by approximately 30% compared to single-unit toilets) and reserve installation pits for septic tanks.
    • Positioning of Pre-embedded Parts: Mark the lifting points, pipe interfaces, and ventilation system locations according to the design drawings to ensure subsequent alignment accuracy.
  2. Main Body Lifting

    • Selection of Lifting Equipment: Choose a crane with an appropriate tonnage based on the weight of the toilet unit (usually 2-5 tons). The lifting points must undergo load-bearing calculations (generally arranged on structural beams).
    • Installation of Sealing Strips: Before lifting, check the integrity of the sealing strips between the base and the foundation to avoid leakage risks.
    • Horizontal Calibration: Use a laser level to adjust the angle of the toilet unit to ensure complete alignment with the foundation slab.
  3. Pipe Connection

    • Water Inlet System: Install dual independent valves to control the water supply to each toilet compartment separately, facilitating isolation operations during maintenance.
    • Sewage System: Use inclined tee connectors (with an inclination angle of 15°-20°) to converge the sewage pipes. The slope of the main pipe must be ≥2% to ensure smooth drainage.
  4. Equipment Debugging

    • Flush Valve: Adjust the water pressure to 0.2-0.3MPa to ensure that the water-saving flush valve uses ≤4L of water per flush.
    • Ventilation System: Test the total air volume (≥80m³/h) and balance the exhaust pressure in each toilet compartment by adjusting the branch air valves.
  5. Installation of External Facilities

    • Lighting System: Use IP65-rated waterproof fixtures. The power supply lines should pass through waterproof sleeves, and sealant should be applied at the interfaces.
    • Warning Lights: Install them at the four corners of the toilet roof, with a height of ≥2.5m, to ensure 360° visibility.

II. Installation Process for Double-Squat Mobile Toilets (Non-Connected)

  1. Base Assembly: Place the back panel, align it with the sewage hole, and secure it. Install the side and front panels and tighten the slots.
  2. Frame Installation: Install the ventilation louvers and top structure. Use a pneumatic nail gun to drive in fixing nails (with a spacing of ≤15cm).
  3. Overall Erection: Two people collaborate to lift the toilet body, adjust it to a vertical position, and then secure the base to the ground connectors.

Precautions: Before installation, verify the design drawings against the site conditions. All pipe connections must undergo anti-seepage treatment. During the debugging phase, simulate usage scenarios to verify system stability.
