Located in Sanpan Community, Beiao Street, this project uses container-style buildings to create a cultural tourism block. The container buildings cover an area of approximately 660 square meters. The block features a modern look with its exterior walls in contrasting bright colors. It also includes supporting facilities such as a parking lot, a small children's playground, a coffee bar, and a seafood stall, bringing together various business formats. It is a lively block integrating dining, leisure, and entertainment, and is set to become a parent-child research and study base with island characteristics in the future.
Application in fishing gear storage: Wenzhou Dongtou has transformed illegal seaweed sheds into container fishing gear houses. Local government departments purchased containers from Ningbo, Shanghai, Wenzhou, and other places and refitted them into fishing gear houses with a unified main color scheme of orange and blue. They can store a large number of auxiliary tools such as seaweed sieves, net curtains, and ropes, with an estimated capacity of 3,000 seaweed sieves. These container-style fishing gear houses are movable and resistant to subsidence, making up for the shortcomings of the previous two generations of seaweed sheds. They have resolved the issue of illegal construction and can be recycled after being discarded. Overall, their price is lower than that of the second-generation seaweed sheds.
Application as construction site guard rooms: In Dongtou, with the improvement of infrastructure and an increase in engineering projects, guard rooms have become indispensable.
