Dongjin Container Mobile House
Dongjin container mobile houses mainly refer to the modified container modules used in the Wenhua Fang container market project in Dongjin New District, serving as commercial space carriers to create a composite consumption scenario with diverse business formats.

Basic Attributes and Functional Positioning
The Wenhua Fang project is located at the intersection of Caizhou Road and Luming Road in Dongjin New District. It is the first container-themed commercial complex in Dongjin New District. Its core carrier is modified industrial-style containers, which form the main building through modular assembly. The indoor usable area of the containers totals 1,400 square meters, with 62 planned business stalls covering trendy business formats such as coffee roasting, specialty snacks, themed restaurants, bars, and new retail, creating a composite consumption space of 'catering + socializing + cultural and creative activities'.
Spatial Design and Innovative Applications
The project plans six themed areas through the concept of 'trendy play +', combining dark gray raw wood, floor-to-ceiling glass, and white light strips to create a collision between industrial aesthetics and modern design. The container modules are transformed into creatively arranged stalls with a staggered layout, complemented by painted walkways, 'head cabbage' IP installations (presenting the intangible cultural heritage of pickling techniques in a cute artistic form), and interactive check-in installations (such as 'back-to-school wish walls' and 'welcome blind box containers'), enhancing the cultural attributes and fun of the space.
Operational Model and Target Customer Groups
The project targets two main customer groups: university students and young families, enhancing participation through diverse activities:
- Opening test event: With the theme of 'Unbox! Welcome to the Food Moment', it introduced over 30 popular catering brands, featuring interactive installations and check-in gift-giving sessions;
- Themed music nights: During the trial operation period, three music nights featuring pop, rock, and youth choir performances were launched, incorporating interactive sessions such as sound wave competitions;
- Long-term planning: Regularly hosting university entrepreneur competitions, student music festivals, and other activities to form a 'youth life circle', and introducing lifestyle service business formats to meet quality consumption needs.
Regional Value and Social Significance
Leveraging the advantage of concentrated university resources in Dongjin New District (with institutions such as Huazhong Agricultural University Xiangyang College and Xiangyang Vocational College of Science and Technology nearby), the project serves as an 'innovation incubator' for university-city integration through the dual drive of 'commercial carriers + cultural activities', injecting youthful energy into regional development while providing standardized and high-quality consumption scenarios for the city's nighttime economy.
