Dog Portable Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

A dog portable toilet is a tool for pet dogs to relieve themselves at designated spots. It is easy to clean and move, primarily serving people who are unable to walk their dogs daily due to busy work schedules or living conditions. Public pet toilets can also be considered a public form of it.

Types of Dog Portable Toilets

Dog portable toilets can be divided into two types: household and public. Household dog portable toilets are for use at home by pet dogs, allowing owners to adjust their positions according to actual situations to meet the dogs' daily excretion needs. Public dog portable toilets, also known as pet public toilets, are usually set up by communities, property management companies, or shopping malls, aiming to solve the problem of pets defecating anywhere, improve environmental hygiene, and are often equipped with items such as poop bags inside, with dedicated personnel for cleaning and maintenance.

Methods for Training Dogs to Use Household Portable Toilets

  1. Designate an Area: First, designate an area in the home for placing the portable toilet and keep it fixed there every day.
  2. Clean the Area: Wipe the area with a mop, then put disinfectant and toilet water in a basin, soak the mop in it, and wipe the area again, especially the corners, to ensure there are no other odors interfering.
  3. Remove Odors: After wiping, spray the area with a deodorizer to further eliminate any remaining odors.
  4. Place the Toilet: Put the portable toilet in the treated area so that only the portable toilet in this area has the smell of feces and urine. Dogs mainly rely on their sense of smell to find excretion spots, so they can come here to relieve themselves at designated spots by relying on their sense of smell.

Significance of Public Dog Portable Toilets

Public dog portable toilets provide convenience for dog owners, solving the problem of their dogs' excretion when walking them in public places. At the same time, they reduce the impact of pets defecating anywhere on environmental hygiene, helping to create a cleaner and more civilized public environment.
