Do Prefabricated Houses Have Radiation?
Prefabricated houses generally do not have radiation issues themselves. Currently, there is no scientific evidence or authoritative research proving that prefabricated houses generate radiation due to their structure or construction methods. The following provides a detailed explanation from the perspectives of the construction materials and the construction process of prefabricated houses.

Construction Materials
Prefabricated houses mainly use reinforced concrete, steel, wood, and various new environmentally friendly panels as construction materials. These materials are stable in their normal usage states and do not spontaneously generate radiation. For example, reinforced concrete is composed of cement, sand and gravel, and steel bars. Cement and sand and gravel are common inorganic non-metallic materials, and steel bars are metallic materials. In a normal construction environment, they do not release radiation harmful to the human body. New environmentally friendly panels, such as those made from plant fibers, have natural plant fibers as their main components and do not have the conditions to generate radiation.
Construction Process
The construction process of prefabricated houses usually involves producing components in a factory and then transporting them to the construction site for assembly. During this process, no substances or technologies that generate radiation are involved. When producing components in the factory, the main operations are material processing and shaping, such as concrete pouring, steel cutting, and welding, which do not trigger the generation of radiation. The assembly process at the construction site simply involves joining and fixing the prefabricated components and also does not produce radiation.
However, if certain special electrical appliances are installed inside a prefabricated house, such as microwave ovens and X-ray machines, these appliances may generate a certain amount of radiation during operation. But this is not an issue with the prefabricated house itself; rather, it is due to the characteristics of the electrical appliances. As long as these electrical appliances are used correctly according to regulations, the radiation they generate usually does not pose a threat to human health.
