Dingxi Portable Toilet

Admin September 22, 2026

The Dingxi portable toilet is a modular, multi-scenario mobile sanitation facility featuring flexible assembly and disassembly, environmental protection, energy efficiency, and intelligent management. The following provides an introduction from four aspects: core functions, technical design, application scenarios, and special types.

I. Modular Structure and Flexible Assembly/Disassembly
The Dingxi portable toilet adopts standardized modular design, with walls, roofs, and base frames connected through locking mechanisms and waterproofing techniques to form a reusable, disassemblable unit. Each module is sized to fit conventional transportation vehicles, enabling rapid relocation and reassembly at different sites without relying on fixed underground plumbing. The enclosure is primarily made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic or metal alloy cladding, with internal thermal insulation layers balancing lightweight construction and structural strength. Wall cavities are pre-embedded with piping channels for concealed water supply and sewage lines, reducing on-site construction complexity.

II. Integrated Environmental and Energy-Efficient Technologies

  1. Sewage System: Offers two modes—connecting to temporary storage tanks or linking to on-site pre-treatment septic tanks, with quick-change interfaces eliminating the need for civil engineering modifications.
  2. Energy Supply: Solar panels on the roof power lighting and ventilation equipment, with some models featuring low-voltage DC drainage valves to reduce energy consumption. Built-in water tanks are replenished via pumps, while models for cold regions include anti-freeze layers and heating tapes to prevent pipe freezing.
  3. Treatment System: Solid-liquid separation devices direct waste into fermentation tanks for microbial degradation, reducing volume. Filtered liquid can be reused for non-potable purposes or purified for discharge. The system is integrated at the base of the unit, with side panels allowing direct access for maintenance.
  4. Ventilation Design: Utilizes negative pressure air exchange principles, with directional airflow preventing odor retention. Air exchange rates are no less than 20 times per hour (for park models), with exhaust air purified through activated carbon filters before discharge.

III. Multi-Scenario Applications and Maintenance Management
Suitable for temporary scenarios such as construction sites, music festivals, and marathons, with supply coverage across multiple cities, districts, and counties in Gansu Province. Maintenance focuses on periodic emptying of storage tanks (based on capacity markings), replenishing degradation agents to sustain microbial activity, and replacing damaged components (e.g., doors, windows, fixtures). The modular design supports localized repairs without requiring the entire unit to be taken out of service.

IV. Special Design Features for Park Portable Toilets

  1. Barrier-Free Access: Entrance ramps have a slope of ≤1:12, with passageways ≥0.9 meters wide and 1.5 meters of wheelchair turning space inside. Toilet stalls are equipped with foldable L-shaped safety rails, and emergency call buttons are positioned 0.4-0.5 meters above the ground.
  2. Structure and Materials: The light steel frame main beam uses 80×40×2.0 mm rectangular steel tubes, with wall panels made of 50 mm thick metal carved-plate sandwich panels (flame-retardant polyurethane core) and roofing of 0.5 mm thick galvanized aluminum-zinc color steel sheets with moisture-proof breathable membranes.
  3. Water Recycling System: An integrated treatment tank enables three-stage filtration and biological treatment, with recycled water supporting approximately 50 toilet flushes per day.
  4. Intelligent Management: Built-in sensors track usage frequency, time periods, and water/electricity consumption, with anonymized data used to analyze public space crowd activity patterns.
