Dimensions of Mobile Single-Person Toilet

Admin September 24, 2026

The common size range of mobile single-person toilets is 1.2 - 1.5 meters in length, 0.8 - 1.0 meters in width, and 1.8 - 2.4 meters in height, with slight variations depending on the type and design.

From a basic specification perspective, the size design of mobile single-person toilets needs to balance functionality and space utilization. In terms of length, it is usually 1.2 - 1.5 meters. This range can accommodate a toilet, a small storage space, and the necessary room for movement, ensuring that users can comfortably complete their toilet activities. For example, a length of 1.2 meters is suitable for compact designs, while 1.5 meters provides more legroom and is suitable for scenarios with higher comfort requirements.

In terms of width, it is generally 0.8 - 1.0 meters, mainly limited by the shoulder width of the human body and the space required for opening the door. A width of 0.8 meters is the minimum to meet basic usage needs, allowing a single person to pass sideways; a width of 1.0 meters enhances the user experience, avoiding collisions or a sense of oppression due to limited space. Some high-end models further reduce the width by optimizing the door structure (such as using folding doors), but this must be done without compromising usability.

In terms of height, there are two common ranges: 1.8 - 2.0 meters and 2.2 - 2.4 meters. The former is more common in simple or temporary toilets, reducing material costs and transportation difficulties by lowering the height, but it may limit internal ventilation. The latter is often found in standard or luxury toilets, where the higher space can accommodate more comprehensive ventilation systems, lighting equipment, and overhead storage structures, while also enhancing the psychological comfort of users. For example, a height of 2.4 meters allows for the installation of exhaust fans or natural ventilation openings, effectively improving internal air quality.

It should be noted that the actual dimensions may vary depending on the manufacturer, usage scenario (such as tourist attractions, construction sites, temporary events), and additional features (such as barrier-free design, baby care stations). For example, barrier-free mobile toilets need to reserve space for wheelchair rotation, and the length may be extended to more than 1.8 meters; while models with sinks will increase the width to about 1.2 meters. When purchasing, a comprehensive assessment should be made based on specific needs and site conditions.
