Differences Between Left and Right Container Houses

Admin September 16, 2026

There are differences between container houses and mobile houses in terms of structural materials, usage characteristics, decoration and construction, mobility and durability, and applicable occasions:

Structure and Materials: Container houses primarily use containers as building materials, mostly made of high-strength steel, offering high strength and corrosion resistance. Mobile houses, on the other hand, use light steel as the overall structure and sandwich panels as wall materials, which provide thermal insulation, corrosion resistance, sound insulation, and are lightweight and flame-retardant.

Usage and Characteristics: Container houses are built quickly, saving time and costs. They are durable and can withstand natural disasters. They are highly mobile, have high space utilization, can be reused, and are environmentally friendly and energy-efficient. Mobile houses have a stable structure, good earthquake resistance, and strong decorative appeal. Although they are slightly less flexible than container houses, they also feature modular designs that allow for a certain degree of disassembly and reassembly.

Decoration and Construction: The floors and walls of container houses are usually decorated in one go, making them energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and aesthetically pleasing. The walls and equipment of mobile houses require on-site installation, resulting in a relatively longer construction period and possibly slightly lower aesthetic appeal.

Mobility and Durability: When moving, container houses do not require disassembly; items can be moved with the container without any loss, and they can be hoisted and moved multiple times. Mobile houses, however, need to be disassembled and then reassembled when moving. Items must be properly packed, and each disassembly and assembly incurs significant material loss and high costs. After several disassemblies and assemblies, they may become unusable.

Applicable Occasions: Container houses are suitable for temporary activities such as construction sites, temporary residences, wild camping, fairs, and exhibitions. Mobile houses are more commonly used in construction sites and other places requiring temporary accommodations.
