During the process of promoting the "Toilet Revolution", Dianjiang County plans to build two new mobile public toilets to enhance public service capabilities. Among them, the mobile public toilet on the north section of Mingyue Avenue is equipped with four regular restrooms and one management room, while the one beside Wenhua Road Primary School has five regular restrooms and one management room. The site selection of these two toilets takes into account both major traffic routes and the needs of public places, aiming to alleviate the pressure on restroom use in areas with high pedestrian traffic.
II. Temporary Measures During Peak Tourism Periods
During the peak flower-viewing period in Taiping Town, local authorities improve the supporting services in the scenic area by adding 15 mobile toilet stalls and building and renovating two tourist public toilets. This measure is mainly targeted at scenarios with a seasonal surge in passenger flow. By flexibly allocating mobile toilet resources, it quickly supplements the insufficient capacity of fixed public toilets and ensures a good experience for tourists.
III. Coverage of Existing Tourist Toilets
Dianjiang County has built 47 tourist toilets, covering scenic areas, attractions, and tourist highway routes. All of them are constructed according to Class A standards, achieving the goal of "sufficient quantity and odor-free cleanliness". Specifically, there are seven Class II tourist toilets in the Peony and Cherry Blossom World Scenic Area and four in Kaizhifeng Tourist Area. These toilets are located close to tourist routes, focusing on practicality and hygiene standards in terms of functionality. Some are also equipped with barrier-free facilities and management rooms to improve service quality.
IV. Synergy between Mobile and Fixed Public Toilets
Mobile toilets and fixed tourist public toilets complement each other: fixed public toilets serve as long-term infrastructure to meet daily needs, while mobile toilets are flexibly deployed to cope with temporary passenger flow peaks or transitional needs during construction periods. For example, the additional mobile toilet stalls in Taiping Town during the flower-viewing season effectively alleviate the queuing problem at fixed public toilets, and the newly built mobile public toilets further optimize the toilet layout in public areas.
