Portable Toilets for Decoration Sites

Admin September 27, 2026

Portable toilets for decoration sites mainly come in the following types:

I. Movable restrooms made from water storage tanks and pallets These portable toilets use discarded water storage tanks as their core material and achieve functional integration through modifications. Specific steps include: installing universal wheels at the bottom of the pallet for mobility; cutting openings at the top of the recycled water storage tanks, inverting and stacking them, and then securing them to form a double-layer tank structure; cutting rectangular openings on the side of the tank as entrances, and drilling holes in the interior floor to connect elbows and pipes for drainage; installing basic sanitary facilities such as toilets, faucets, and washbasins inside, and making doors with wooden boards and hinges. The advantages of this type of toilet are low material costs and simple manufacturing processes, but due to the limited volume and structural strength of the water storage tanks, they are usually only suitable for small construction sites or short-term use scenarios.

II. 4 + 1 stepped portable restrooms This is a standardized product with a modular design, featuring a layout of 4 squatting positions + 1 open restroom. Its structural characteristics include: using thermal-insulating and fire-resistant metal carved panels for the exterior walls, which have a special coating-treated colored relief decorative metal panel surface for both fire resistance and aesthetics; using corrosion-resistant titanium-magnesium alloy for the side doors to enhance durability; equipping the restroom with a complete set of bathroom cabinets, using bamboo-wood fiber panels for the interior walls of the toilet, and laying anti-slip tiles at the bottom; configuring details such as exhaust fans, paper towel dispensers, and hooks inside, and allowing customization of size or functions according to needs. The advantages of this type of toilet are complete functions and a comfortable environment, making it suitable for medium to large construction sites or scenarios with high hygiene requirements, but the cost is relatively high.

III. General portable toilets for construction sites These are standardized temporary facilities produced industrially, usually composed of modules such as fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal devices), floor panels, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. They can be classified in various ways:

  1. By structural form: divided into single-unit structures (independent units) and composite structures (multi-unit combinations);
  2. By mobility method: divided into lifting/handling types (requiring mechanical assistance for movement) and powered/trailer types (with built-in power or towable);
  3. By sewage treatment method: divided into flush types (requiring a water source), non-flush suction types (regularly cleaning the fecal storage tank), circulating flush types (purifying and reusing sewage), and dry packing types (using biodegradable bags to collect feces). The advantages of this type of toilet are high standardization, rapid deployment, and mobility, enabling them to meet the needs of construction sites of different scales. However, it is necessary to choose an appropriate sewage treatment method according to the specific scenario to avoid environmental pollution.
