Building and Renovating Public Toilets to Enhance Basic Services
In 2024, the Dazhou Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau deepened the refined management of public toilets, building 7 new public toilets and renovating 11 existing ones in the urban area. These toilets not only feature a modern appearance and an elegant environment but also have more comprehensive functions and complete facilities. Inside, they are equipped with comfortable rest areas, convenient charging stations, and thoughtful water dispensers, providing citizens with a more convenient user experience. At the same time, dedicated access ramps for the disabled and sturdy handrails have been added, achieving 'barrier-free' and 'friendly' access and demonstrating care for special groups.
Introducing Intelligent Technologies to Create Smart Toilets
Dazhou actively introduces intelligent technologies to create 5G smart toilets. Currently, 2 5G smart toilets have been built in places like Dazhou Railway Station, with plans to build 10 more in the future. These smart toilets use big data, the Internet of Things, and other technological means to achieve real-time monitoring and intelligent control of the toilet environment. For example, they can monitor data such as air quality and foot traffic inside the toilets in real time and automatically adjust ventilation, lighting, and other equipment based on the data, improving management efficiency and service levels. In addition, Dazhou has also initiated bidding for 5G smart waterless flushing ecological mobile toilets, with a budget of 8,000,000.00 yuan, further promoting the intelligent renovation of toilets.
Diversifying Toilet Types to Meet Various Needs
The renovation of mobile toilets in Dazhou is also reflected in the diversification of types. Mobile toilets are classified by material into plastic, color-steel, and stainless-steel types; by structural form into single-unit and composite-structure mobile toilets; by mobility into hoisting and handling types and powered towing types; by sewage treatment method into waterless packing types, ordinary water-flushing types, and environmentally friendly waterless types; and by usage location into economical and practical types, urban modern types, and scenic-area customized types. This diverse design can meet the needs of different scenarios, whether it is urban streets, scenic spots, or temporary event venues, where suitable mobile toilets can be found.
