Danbei Town Container House
Danbei Town has mainly carried out a special rectification campaign against illegal residential container houses, and has currently conducted centralized rectification of containers around homesteads.

Rectification Background
With the continuous economic and social development of Danbei Town, after some farmers' houses were built, the remaining containers were illegally renovated and rented out for living, giving rise to multiple safety hazards and triggering many social conflicts. Most of these illegal residential container bodies are constructed using flammable and combustible sandwich panels, with non-compliant fire resistance ratings. Once a fire breaks out, the flames spread rapidly, easily generating toxic smoke and making escape difficult. At the same time, there are widespread issues such as unauthorized electrical wiring, mixed use of high-power electrical appliances, and the use of bottled gas indoors, posing prominent risks of electric shock and fire. Some containers illegally occupy collective land and rural roads, blocking fire exits. This not only constitutes illegal construction but also frequently triggers neighborhood disputes, resulting in numerous complaints from the public. In addition, the haphazard stacking and dilapidated appearance of the containers mar the village's appearance and are not conducive to the construction of a beautiful rural area.
Rectification Actions
Starting from mid-July 2026, Danbei Town launched a special rectification campaign against illegal residential container houses across the town. First, publicity and guidance were carried out to widely build consensus. Various villages (residential committees) collaborated with law enforcement, public security, economic development, and other departments to conduct door-to-door publicity, distribute notices, and achieve full coverage of publicity through forms such as "Little Hands Pull Big Hands" to educate the public about the safety hazards of illegal residential container houses and actively persuade relevant personnel to move out voluntarily. In August, the rectification work entered a concentrated攻坚 (key breakthrough) stage. For illegal containers that were not cleared voluntarily after persuasion, the local village committees took the lead in collaborating with relevant departments to carry out forced removals. At the same time, strict registration and reporting were required for the whereabouts of the cleared containers. The rectification process refused to adopt a one-size-fits-all approach. For tenants with actual living difficulties, the village committees actively assisted in contacting transitional housing to properly solve the temporary resettlement problems of the public.
Follow-up Plans
Danbei Town will continue to push forward the clearance of the remaining illegal containers, regularly conduct "look-back" inspections of the rectification work, strictly prevent problems from recurring, effectively safeguard the lives and property of the public, and continuously create a safe, harmonious, and beautiful rural environment.
