Custom Container House Size

The size of custom container houses can be flexibly selected according to needs. Common standard sizes include 20-foot and 40-foot containers, and non-standard custom sizes for length, width, and height are also available, such as 3m×6m, 3m×8m, etc.. Details are as follows:

I. Standard Container Sizes

1. 20-foot Standard Container (20GP): The external dimensions are 6058mm×2438mm×2591mm, and the internal dimensions are 5867mm×2330mm×2350mm. Common uses include single-person offices, dormitories, and shops.

2. 40-foot Standard Container (40GP): The external dimensions are 12192mm×2438mm×2591mm, and the internal dimensions are 11998mm×2330mm×2350mm. It can be divided into multi-functional spaces or multi-person dormitories.

3. 40-foot High Cube Container (40HQ): The external dimensions are 12192mm×2438mm×2896mm, and the internal dimensions are 11998mm×2330mm×2655mm. It is suitable for exhibition halls or housing with height requirements.

II. Non-Standard Custom Sizes

1. Common Non-Standard Sizes: Width options include 2.5m, 2.55m, 3m, 4m, etc. Height options include 2.6m, 2.7m, 2.8m, 2.9m, etc. Length can be adjusted according to needs, such as 3m×6m, 3m×8m, 3m×12m, etc.

2. Special Cases:

   • 20-foot Double-Wing Expandable Container: During transportation, the space on both sides is folded in. After expansion, the indoor usable area is approximately 36㎡, suitable for residential or storage functions.

   • Duplex Container House: Made by joining three 40-foot containers, with dimensions of 11.8m×6.75m×2.8m and a usable area of up to 80㎡. It can be arranged with a living room, bedrooms, etc.

   • 3x3x2.8m Residential Container: Designed with standardized dimensions, it has high space utilization efficiency and is suitable for temporary housing or office spaces on construction sites.

III. Customization Flexibility

In addition to size, the positions of doors and windows, partitions, exterior appearance, and interior decoration of container houses can all be customized according to needs to meet different scenario requirements.
