Design Sketch of Curved Container House

Admin September 17, 2026

Currently, there are no direct design sketches of curved container houses, but the curved Apple Pod container house offers the following features for reference:

The main frame of the curved Apple Pod container house is made of high-strength steel structure, which has excellent load-bearing capacity and stability, ensuring safe use of the house in various environments. The high-strength steel structure is carefully designed and processed, with sufficient strength to withstand external impacts, such as natural disasters like strong winds and earthquakes, providing reliable safety protection for occupants.

Its outer layer is covered with metal panels, which not only have good protective properties, effectively resisting physical damage and chemical corrosion from the outside world, but also enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the house. The surface of the metal panels can undergo various treatments, such as painting and galvanizing, to meet different appearance requirements and environmental adaptability.

Internally, it integrates insulation and decorative layers, forming a 'sandwich' composite structure. The insulation layer effectively blocks heat transfer, keeping the interior warm in cold regions and reducing heat entry in hot regions, thereby lowering the energy consumption of air conditioning and other cooling equipment and improving energy efficiency. The decorative layer provides a beautiful and comfortable living environment indoors and can be customized according to different design styles and user needs.

The curved design is achieved through segmented splicing, which retains the standardized dimensions of the container for easy transportation and installation while reducing wind resistance through curved transitions. In outdoor environments, reducing wind resistance can lower the wind force acting on the house, improving its stability and safety. At the same time, the curved design increases the sense of height in the interior space, making the indoor space more open, reducing the feeling of oppression, and enhancing living comfort.

The roof usually adopts a single-slope or double-slope drainage design, combined with sealing strips and waterproof coatings, effectively draining rainwater and preventing water accumulation and leakage, adapting to outdoor environments. The sealing strips and waterproof coatings ensure that the house is not eroded by rainwater during long-term use, extending the service life of the house.
