2. Complaint Cases of Illegal Container Construction
The Xinjie Community in Anfu Subdistrict once faced complaints due to unauthorized construction of container shops in the municipal pocket park (Xinyue Park). These containers were used for mahjong parlors, barbecue restaurants, and other businesses,涉嫌 (allegedly) destroying greenery, illegally constructing, and operating without a license. According to regulations such as the 'Urban Greening Regulations' and the 'Urban and Rural Planning Law,' such actions require joint investigation and punishment by urban management, landscaping, and other departments, as well as restoration of the green space to its original state. This case reflects that container houses, if not permitted by planning, may lead to legal disputes.
3. Government Procurement and Corporate Applications
The Social Work Department of the CPC Cuiping District Committee in Yibin City procured containers for the Social Work Comprehensive Service Center (Yilin Center). The winning supplier was Yibin Fuyuda Machinery Co., Ltd., with procurement items including various specifications of containers (such as 6000×4500×3900mm and 12000×5850×3900mm), totaling 719,800 yuan. Additionally, companies like Yibin Port International Container Terminal Co., Ltd. use containers for logistics, warehousing, and international freight, demonstrating their wide application in the industrial sector.
4. Innovative Applications of Containers in Cultural Events
Shangli Lixiangcheng in Cuiping District once used containers to build a stage for hosting music festivals and street dance challenges, creating an immersive experience through graffiti and lighting designs, boosting the nighttime economy. Such applications showcase the flexibility of container houses in temporary construction and cultural creativity, meeting the demands of modern cities for multifunctional spaces.
