Covered Mobile Toilet

Admin September 24, 2026

A covered mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It consists of multiple parts such as fecal treatment, sanitary ware, and walls, and has various structural, mobility, and sewage treatment methods. There are different types of products available on the market.

Composition Structure

A covered mobile toilet generally consists of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is one of the core components, used to collect and treat the fecal sewage generated during toilet use, preventing environmental pollution. The floor provides a stable standing and activity space for users, ensuring safety and comfort during use. Sanitary ware includes toilets or squat pans, meeting basic toilet needs. Walls serve to divide the space and protect privacy, while also blocking external interference to a certain extent. Washing equipment such as sinks allows users to clean their hands after using the toilet. The water tank stores water for flushing the toilet, ensuring its normal operation. The roof provides shelter from wind and rain, protecting the internal facilities from weather conditions. The mobility device enables the entire toilet to be moved, facilitating changes in placement locations as needed.

Classification Methods

In terms of structural form, they can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and independent, while composite-structure toilets may be composed of multiple single units or have more complex internal structures. Based on mobility methods, there are lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, which usually require the assistance of cranes and other equipment for movement; and powered and towed-type mobile toilets, which can rely on their own power or be towed by other vehicles. In terms of sewage treatment methods, there are water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile toilets. Water-flushing toilets use water flow for flushing, while non-water-flushing suction-type toilets use suction equipment to treat feces. Recirculating water-flushing mobile toilets can recycle the flushing water, saving water resources. Dry-packing mobile toilets package the feces in a dry form.
