Corrugated Plate Container House
The corrugated plate container house is a container-type building that uses galvanized corrugated plates (corrugated plates) as its main structural material. It has characteristics such as modularity, mobility, and durability, and is widely used in temporary buildings, residential spaces, commercial spaces, and other fields.

Structure and Materials
The core structural material of the corrugated plate container house is the galvanized corrugated plate (corrugated plate). The hot-dip galvanized steel plate is pressed into a corrugated cross-section by a rolling mill to form a lightweight metal sheet. This sheet has characteristics such as high strength, light weight, and rust and corrosion resistance. The zinc layer thickness is usually between 80g/㎡ and 275g/㎡ (a thickness of over 180g is recommended for humid environments), the plate thickness ranges from 0.5mm to 2.0mm (with 0.8mm to 1.5mm being commonly used), and the wave shapes include trapezoidal waves, circular arc waves, and V-shaped waves. Its effective width is between 900mm and 1000mm, and the length can be customized according to requirements (such as 6m, 9m, and 12m).
Performance Characteristics
- Durability and Safety: The steel frame structure combined with galvanized corrugated plates provides wind, earthquake, rain, and fire resistance performance, with a service life of over 20 years.
- Modularity and Flexibility: It adopts a standardized design, supports rapid assembly and disassembly, can be reused, and is suitable for temporary buildings or mobile scenarios.
- Functional Optimization: Through air-break thermal insulation design, it achieves sound and thermal insulation. The interior can be equipped with glass windows, panoramic balconies, and other designs to enhance living comfort.
- Cost-Effectiveness: Its construction cost is lower than that of traditional buildings, and it does not require foundation construction, shortening the construction period and reducing construction waste.
Application Scenarios
- Temporary Buildings: Such as construction site dormitories, offices, and temporary warehouses, which can be quickly deployed using their mobility.
- Residential and Commercial Spaces: Through customized design, corrugated plate container houses can be transformed into nursing homes, cafes, shops, etc. For example, a nursing home in South Korea uses a bright orange corrugated plate exterior to enhance its fashion sense.
- Special Environments: In humid or rainy areas (such as Chongqing), the galvanized layer provides additional corrosion protection, extending the structural lifespan.
Customization and Expansion
Most suppliers support customization of size, function, and appearance, such as adding electrical systems, thermal insulation layers, or expanding the space. Some products can be stacked into a two-story structure to meet larger area requirements.
