Correct Installation Method for Mobile Toilets

Admin October 07, 2026

The method for correctly installing mobile toilets requires selecting the corresponding process based on the product type. Common installation methods and precautions are as follows:

I. Installation Process for General-Purpose Mobile Toilets (Applicable to Some Pre-Assembled Products)

  1. Tool Preparation
Prepare tools such as an electric drill, 4.2mm drill bit, and rivet gun in advance to ensure tool compatibility during installation. Some products may require additional tools like a level or wrench, as specified in the instructions.

  2. Main Body Assembly

    • Corner Installation: Fix the corner components according to the design position, use an electric drill to make holes at the marked points (the hole diameter must match the rivet), insert the rivet, and then secure it with a rivet gun to ensure structural stability.
    • Panel Assembly: Insert the side panels, back panels, etc., into the reserved slots, align the edges, and press gently to secure. If there are gaps between the panels, adjust them until they fit snugly to avoid loosening during subsequent use.
    • Overall Fixation: Repeat the drilling and riveting operations around the assembled frame, focusing on reinforcing the corners and load-bearing parts to prevent deformation from long-term use.
  3. Functional Module Connection

    • Water and Electricity Connections: For flush toilets, plan the water supply pipeline in advance, connect the inlet valve, and test for airtightness; the sewage pipe must be connected to a septic tank or municipal sewage system, with a recommended slope of ≥2% to ensure smooth drainage.
    • Circuit Layout: Toilets with lighting or ventilation functions need to be connected to a power source. It is recommended to use waterproof sockets and install leakage protection devices to avoid safety hazards during outdoor use.

II. Six-Step Simple Installation Method (Applicable to Some Mobile Toilets/Simple Toilets)

  1. Unpacking Inspection
Check the accessory list (such as the toilet body, water tank, sewage pipe, sealing ring, etc.) to confirm that there are no missing or damaged parts. If any parts are found to be missing, contact the manufacturer immediately for replacement.

  2. Assembly Steps

    • Steps 2 to 4: Install core components such as the water tank and sewage pipe according to the instructions. For example, align the water tank with the toilet body, tighten the fixing bolts, insert the sewage pipe, and install the sealing ring to prevent leakage.
    • Steps 5 to 6: Connect the water and electricity lines (such as the inlet hose and power cord), and then perform functional tests (such as flushing and ventilation) to ensure that each module operates normally.

III. Key Precautions

  1. Product Type Confirmation

    • The installation of single-structure toilets is relatively simple, while composite structures (such as those with a fecal storage tank or separate treatment system) may require professional operation to avoid functional failure due to incorrect assembly.
    • The method of movement (such as towing or forklift handling) affects the installation site requirements, so it is necessary to plan the space and transportation path in advance.
  2. Outdoor Installation Specifications

    • The ground must be flat and hardened (such as by laying concrete or moisture-proof wooden boards) to prevent the toilet from tilting or getting damp.
    • In northern regions, consider freeze-proof measures, such as adding insulation layers to flush toilets or draining the water from the pipes.
  3. Instruction Manual Priority Principle
There are significant differences between products from different manufacturers. It is strongly recommended to follow the product instruction manual or the guidance of the manufacturer's customer service to avoid installation errors caused by general processes. For imported products, confirm that the voltage and interface standards comply with the domestic usage environment.
