Container Thickened Wallboard House
Admin September 16, 2026
The container thickened wallboard house is a prefabricated building based on the container prototype, constructed using thickened wallboard and other materials, featuring a stable structure and diverse functions. Here is a detailed introduction:

I. Basic Structure and Materials
- Main Frame: Typically welded from hot-dip galvanized square steel, commonly using galvanized square tubes with dimensions such as 100×100mm and 80×80mm to ensure structural stability.
- Wallboard Materials: Designed with thickened wallboards, common materials include aluminum-zinc color-coated steel plates combined with rock wool, glass wool, or polyurethane insulation materials. These materials offer both thermal insulation and fire resistance, with some products passing Class A fire certification to meet construction site fire safety requirements.
- Appearance: Some designs feature curved roofs and integrated metal wallboards, creating a visual effect that combines rounded edges with sharp corners while enhancing structural durability.
II. Functional Characteristics
- Modular Assembly: Supports independent placement or modular assembly, enabling spatial expansion through standardized container connections, suitable for single-story or multi-story buildings. For example, a large black container building can be constructed as a four-story structure using 16 specialized containers.
- Customizable Space: The interior space can be freely divided according to needs, supporting open-plan layouts that closely connect the natural environment with indoor spaces.
- Environmental Adaptability: The wallboard materials exhibit excellent resistance to acid, alkali, and salt spray corrosion, making them suitable for use in humid and highly corrosive environments while also providing waterproofing, sound insulation, and thermal insulation properties.
III. Application Scenarios
- Residential Function: Can be renovated internally to meet residential needs, equipped with facilities such as toilets and showers to satisfy daily living requirements.
- Commercial Use: Can serve as cafes, event spaces, offices, shops, and other commercial venues, with some projects achieving multi-functional use through rental models.
- Special Scenarios: Suitable for construction site dormitories, temporary command centers, prefabricated schools, and other settings, with some products designed to withstand hurricanes for use in regions with special climatic conditions.
