Container Refrigerator House Design Drawing

Admin September 17, 2026

Currently, there are no publicly available and directly accessible standardized design drawings for container refrigerator houses, but key points and ideas for designing such houses can be provided.

Overall Planning and Layout

The design of a container refrigerator house should first consider overall planning. Determine the functional divisions of the house based on usage requirements. For example, if it is for residential purposes, areas such as bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms need to be demarcated; if it is for commercial refrigerated storage, areas for goods storage and operation rooms should be planned. Taking residential use as an example, if a single standard container (usually with dimensions of 6 meters in length, 2.4 meters in width, and 2.6 meters in height) is used, the space is relatively limited. One can consider an integrated design of the bedroom and living room, using foldable or movable furniture to flexibly adjust the space. If multiple containers are combined, the space can be expanded through splicing and stacking, and different functional areas can achieve relative independence and interconnection through reasonable layout.

Thermal Insulation and Heat Preservation Treatment

Since it involves refrigerator functions, thermal insulation and heat preservation are key aspects of the design. The metal material of containers has high thermal conductivity, so professional thermal insulation treatment is necessary. Insulation materials such as polyurethane foam boards can be filled between the inner and outer walls of the container, which have good thermal insulation performance and a low thermal conductivity coefficient. At the same time, for the design of doors and windows, choose those with good sealing performance and install double-glazed windows to further reduce heat transfer, ensuring a stable internal temperature of the house and meeting the appropriate temperature requirements for refrigeration or living.

Refrigeration System Installation

The selection and installation of the refrigeration system are directly related to the refrigeration function of the house. Select refrigeration equipment with appropriate power according to the volume and usage requirements of the house. For small residential container refrigerator houses, split-type air conditioners can be chosen as the refrigeration equipment. Install the indoor unit inside the house and the outdoor unit in a suitable location, and achieve refrigeration through pipeline connections. For large-scale commercial refrigerated storage purposes, professional refrigerated refrigeration units are required. Plan the installation location of the refrigeration units reasonably to ensure good ventilation, and design the layout of the refrigeration pipelines well so that the cold air can be evenly distributed to all corners of the house.

Ventilation and Lighting Design

Good ventilation and lighting are crucial for the comfort and practicality of the house. In terms of ventilation, natural ventilation openings and mechanical ventilation equipment can be set up. Natural ventilation openings can be installed on the top or sides of the house, using the principles of thermal pressure and wind pressure to achieve natural air circulation; mechanical ventilation equipment such as exhaust fans can forcibly exhaust the stale air inside the house when needed. In terms of lighting, in addition to reasonably designing the positions and sizes of doors and windows to increase natural lighting, lighting equipment such as LED lights can also be installed to provide sufficient artificial lighting and meet usage requirements in different scenarios.
