What Materials Are Needed During the Construction of Container Prefab Houses?

Admin September 11, 2026

Container prefab houses are an eco-friendly, economical new concept in temporary buildings. They use a light-steel frame, sandwich panels as enclosure materials, a series of standard modular space combinations, and bolted components. Container prefab houses are quick and convenient to install and dismantle, bringing temporary buildings toward general standardization. They embody an eco-friendly, energy-saving, and fast-build philosophy, and temporary housing has entered a final-product field of series development, integrated production, supporting supply, inventory, and repeated turnover.

  1. Prefab panel houses are made up of color steel sheets, exterior wall corners, internal and external corner trims, window corners, roofs, rivets, self-tapping screws, and other parts. The most important component is the color steel sheet. Color steel sheets are a key part of the prefab house and form the main structure of the building.

  2. Container prefab houses: Container prefab buildings are suitable for various construction sites, such as worker dormitories, flat-roof structures, warehouses, and more. Their main load-bearing system is a steel structure and is highly reliable. The walls use double-layer steel wire mesh and offer thermal insulation, heat resistance, and light weight.

  3. Magnesium-phosphate trailers. Magnesium-based mobile houses are currently among the lower-priced mobile houses on the market. They are also light and simple in structure—a simple, lightweight mobile building. This trailer type has unique advantages such as waterproofing, fire resistance, shock resistance, and corrosion resistance. The panels use a polystyrene core material that fully delivers insulation performance; specially shaped houses can also be designed and built to different user requirements, making them suitable as temporary housing for construction units.

  4. Prefabricated houses. Prefab house walls use color-steel foam sandwich composite panels, and bay spacing can be set according to user needs. This type of prefab house has a long service life of about 10-20 years. It is both thermally insulating and neat in appearance.
