Container Mobile House Repair

Admin September 15, 2026

The repair of container mobile houses should be carried out in a targeted manner based on the cause of water leakage. Common repair methods include fastener reinforcement, replacement of waterproof materials, crack repair, and gutter maintenance.

1. Fastener Reinforcement and Waterproof Pad Replacement

During the installation and use of container mobile houses, if the roof is stepped on or subjected to long-term external forces, it may lead to the loosening of fasteners, and the aging of waterproof pads can also cause water leakage. In this case, all fasteners should be thoroughly inspected, and professional tools should be used to re-tighten the loose components and replace the aged waterproof pads. During operation, ensure that the contact surface between the fasteners and the roof is flat to avoid secondary loosening due to uneven local stress.

2. Waterproof Material Replacement and Construction Optimization

If the waterproof materials selected for the house are unqualified or there are defects in the construction process, such as insufficient coating thickness and improper joint treatment, the original waterproof layer should be completely removed, and new waterproof materials that meet the standards should be selected for construction. For example, high-elastic waterproof coatings or self-adhesive waterproof membranes can be used. During construction, attention should be paid to the ambient temperature and humidity to ensure that the materials fully bond with the base layer and form a continuous waterproof barrier.

3. Crack Repair and Deformation Correction

When holes are drilled in the house panels to install fans, exhaust pipes, and other equipment, if the surrounding cracks are not properly treated or the panels are deformed due to wind loads or snow loads, the cracks should be cleaned and then filled with sealants or waterproof mortar, and waterproof membranes should be laid on the surface for reinforcement. For severely deformed panels, professional equipment should be used for correction to restore their flatness before waterproof treatment.

4. Gutter Maintenance and Drainage Optimization

A lack of slope in the horizontal direction of the gutter or an unreasonable design of the outlet can lead to water backflow. This can be solved by adjusting the slope of the gutter or adding drainage outlets. At the same time, regularly clean the debris in the gutter to prevent blockage, and carry out anti-corrosion treatment on the rusted and eroded parts, such as painting with anti-rust paint or replacing with corrosion-resistant materials, to ensure the smooth operation of the drainage system.
