Container Mobile House - Prefabricated

Admin September 17, 2026

Container mobile houses are a type of prefabricated building, characterized by modular assembly, mobility, and reusability. The following provides a detailed introduction from three aspects: structural composition, connection methods, and product classification.

In terms of structural composition, the frame structure of container mobile houses is their core support. Taking the quick-assembly residential container house as an example, its frame consists of 8 corner fittings, 4 columns, and 8 beams, which together form the basic framework of the house. Among them, channel steel with specifications of 16*16cm is the main material, with a thickness of 2.3mm and coated with high-temperature baking paint. This treatment not only enhances the strength of the steel but also provides it with rust-proof properties, extending the service life of the house. Box-type houses also adopt a steel frame structure, which has high strength and stability, enabling them to withstand certain external forces and ensuring the safe use of the house.

Regarding connection methods, container mobile houses mainly use bolt connections. The quick-assembly residential container house adopts a method of shipping in parts and assembling with screws, making the assembly and disassembly of the house relatively simple without the need for complex tools and techniques, reducing construction difficulty and cost. Box-type houses also use bolt connections, with standardized container units being combined for construction. Each container unit is tightly connected with bolts to form a whole, ensuring both the structural stability of the house and facilitating transportation and installation.

From the perspective of product classification, box-type houses can be classified into three categories based on their structure: traditional cargo container-modified box-type houses, brand-new welded box-type mobile houses, and detachable box-type mobile houses. Traditional cargo container-modified box-type houses are made by repurposing discarded cargo containers, offering advantages such as low cost and short modification cycles. Brand-new welded box-type mobile houses are fabricated using brand-new steel, resulting in a more robust structure and a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. Detachable box-type mobile houses combine the advantages of the previous two types, allowing for both overall transportation and on-site disassembly and assembly, providing greater flexibility.
