Container Mobile House Materials

Admin September 15, 2026

The main materials of container mobile houses include steel structural frames and enclosure panels.

Steel structural frames are the core supporting structures of container mobile houses, typically made of high-strength steel, such as fully steel structural frames. These frames offer excellent wind and earthquake resistance, ensuring the structural stability of the house under extreme conditions. For example, the packing-box units produced by Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. use fully steel structural frames. The measured wind resistance level reaches Grade 12, the earthquake resistance level is Grade 8, and the frame deformation rate is only 0.18%, far below the industry's qualified threshold.

Enclosure panels are used to form the walls, roofs, and other parts of the house. Common materials include corrugated steel sheets, rock wool sandwich panels, and polyurethane sandwich panels. These panels not only provide good thermal insulation and heat insulation properties but also have a certain structural strength to withstand wind and rain erosion. For example, in the Jining area, due to the long winter and large temperature differences, there are high requirements for the condensation control of the panels. Some companies adjust the coating formulas on the inner and outer layers of the panels, such as using high-weather-resistant polyester resin coatings on the outer layer and adding moisture-proof aluminum foil layers on the inner layer, effectively reducing the probability of condensation and improving the living comfort of the house.

In addition, different materials may be used for the doors, windows, floors, and other parts of container mobile houses to meet different usage requirements. For example, the doors and windows may be made of aluminum alloy or plastic-steel materials, while the floors may be made of wood or composite materials. The selection of these materials aims to improve the durability, comfort, and safety of the house.
