Container House Window Profiles

Admin September 16, 2026

The commonly used window profiles for container houses mainly include two materials: aluminum alloy and plastic steel.

  1. Aluminum Alloy Profiles:

    • Characteristics: Aluminum alloy doors and windows have the advantages of being lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, and corrosion-resistant, making them suitable for doors and windows in container houses. Additionally, aluminum alloy offers good thermal insulation properties, enhancing the comfort of the house.
    • Applications: In container houses, aluminum alloy profiles are commonly used in sliding windows, casement windows, and other types. For example, some sliding windows specifically designed for container mobile houses utilize aluminum alloy and plastic steel materials, providing both wind resistance and thermal insulation while being easy to install.
  2. Plastic Steel Profiles:

    • Characteristics: Plastic steel doors and windows are primarily made of polyvinyl chloride (UPVC) resin, combined with a certain proportion of stabilizers, colorants, fillers, and UV absorbers. The profiles are extruded and then fabricated into door and window frames through cutting, welding, or screwing. Plastic steel doors and windows offer excellent sound insulation, thermal insulation, fire resistance, airtightness, and watertightness, and are relatively affordable.
    • Applications: Plastic steel profiles are also widely used in container houses. For instance, soundproof and thermal-insulating UPVC plastic steel casement windows supplied directly by manufacturers for container houses utilize plastic steel materials, ensuring window airtightness and enhancing the house's thermal insulation. Additionally, some plastic steel sliding windows designed for container mobile houses offer easy installation and wind resistance.

When selecting window profiles for container houses, it is essential to consider the house's purpose, location, and personal preferences. For example, if the container house is primarily used for living and is located in a colder climate, plastic steel profiles with better thermal insulation may be a better choice. Conversely, if the house is in a milder climate and aesthetics are a priority, aluminum alloy profiles might be more suitable.
