Container House Welding Tools

Admin September 15, 2026

Common welding tools for container houses include Megmeet series welders, automated welding equipment, hot air welders, and dedicated welding platforms, as detailed below:

1. Megmeet Intelligent Welder Series
To meet the welding needs of different parts of containers, Megmeet has launched several dedicated welders:

  • Artsen II PM500F Welder: Utilizing fully digital industrial heavy-duty MIG/MAG/CO2 DC/pulse technology, combined with dedicated machine welding processes, it addresses issues such as unstable arcs, excessive spatter, and poor weld formation during the welding of container front wall panels and side panels. Its DC short-circuit process significantly improves welding speed and quality, making it suitable for thin-plate welding of high-strength steel containers.
  • Artsen Plus Welder: Designed specifically for welding container floor panels and side panels, it effectively overcomes the impact of anti-rust paint coatings on arc stability through an intelligent gas-shielded welding process platform, reducing spatter and optimizing weld formation. This model also employs a DC short-circuit process, making it suitable for thick plates and dissimilar material connections.

2. Automated Welding Equipment
Container production lines generally adopt highly automated equipment to enhance efficiency and consistency:

  • Infrared Scanning and Laser Tracking Systems: Integrated into automatic welders for rear corner posts, side panels, and top side beams, they enable precise welding of complex structures such as corrugated panels and corner fittings through real-time positioning and trajectory correction, with errors controlled within 0.05mm.
  • Robotic Arms and Robot Welding: Used for welding small components such as lock seats and door hinge plates, as well as in scenarios like four-corner automatic welding and full-weld robots, they can operate continuously for 24 hours, significantly reducing manual labor intensity.
  • Electromagnet Automatic Positioning Technology: In the welding of side panels and bottom side beams, 4mm electromagnets enable rapid positioning, combined with infrared scanning to complete fully automatic corrugated welding, improving assembly accuracy.

3. Dedicated Hot Air Welders
For welding non-metallic materials such as container house roofs and tarpaulins, hot air welders are key tools:

  • Leister roofer RW3400: Weighing only 15 kilograms, it is equipped with a 3400W hot air blower and a laser guidance system, achieving welding speeds of 1-7.5m/min and a temperature adjustment range of 20-600℃. Its overlapping welding nozzle design is suitable for lap welding of materials such as sunshades and truck tarpaulins, with quality comparable to that of large-scale equipment.

4. Rapid Welding Platform for Container Houses
The patented rapid welding platform enables quick positioning and welding of container house frames through modular fixtures and adjustable tooling, supporting simultaneous multi-angle and multi-position operations, shortening construction cycles, and enhancing structural stability.
