Container House Wall Design Drawings

Admin September 17, 2026

Currently, there is no specific design drawing information directly targeting the walls of container houses alone, but relevant wall design points can be analyzed in conjunction with the overall structural drawings.

Some wall-design-related content can be obtained from the overall structural drawings. Firstly, the impact of column specifications on wall design: Columns are important supporting structures for the walls of container houses. Their specifications determine the load-bearing capacity and stability of the walls. For example, thicker columns can withstand greater horizontal and vertical loads. When designing walls, if the column specifications are large, the wall panels can be designed to be thinner and lighter while still ensuring the stability of the overall structure. Conversely, when the column specifications are small, the wall panels may need to use stronger and thicker materials to compensate for the insufficient support.

The arrangement of top and bottom keels and their connection to the walls is also crucial. The top and bottom keels provide vertical fixation and support for the walls. A reasonable arrangement ensures a tight connection between the walls and the overall structure of the house. For instance, evenly arranged keels can make the wall panels bear forces uniformly, avoiding local stress concentration that may cause wall panel deformation or damage. When designing walls, it is necessary to precisely design the installation hole positions and connection methods of the wall panels according to the arrangement spacing and positions of the top and bottom keels to ensure the integrity of the walls and the house structure.

The selection of wall panel material specifications is a key part of wall design. Choose appropriate wall panel materials according to the usage functions and environmental requirements of the house. If the house is in a humid environment, materials with good moisture resistance, such as moisture-resistant gypsum boards or waterproof metal wall panels, should be selected. If there are high requirements for thermal insulation, insulation materials such as polystyrene foam boards can be used as the core material of the wall panels, which are then covered with metal or wooden panels. At the same time, the thickness of the material specifications also affects the performance of the walls. Thicker wall panels can provide better sound insulation and thermal insulation effects but will increase the self-weight and cost of the house.

The design of door and window openings also needs to be coordinated with the overall wall design. The positions, sizes, and opening methods of doors and windows will affect the structural layout and force-bearing situation of the walls. When designing walls, sufficient space should be reserved for the installation of doors and windows, and it should be ensured that the wall structures around the doors and windows have sufficient strength to support the weight of the doors and windows and resist external forces. For example, a lintel can be set above the doors and windows to disperse the loads transferred from the doors and windows to the walls.
