Admin September 17, 2026
The container house standard specification table covers various types, with specific specifications as follows:

I. Houses Based on Standard Container Sizes
- 20-foot Container House: The external dimensions are 6.06 meters in length, 2.44 meters in width, and 2.59 meters in height, with an internal area of approximately 28.3 square meters. The common internal dimensions are 5.69 meters in length, 2.13 meters in width, and 2.18 meters in height, with a volume range of 24 to 26 cubic meters.
- 40-foot Container House: The external dimensions are 12.2 meters in length, 2.44 meters in width, and 2.59 meters in height, with an internal area of approximately 67.6 square meters. The common internal dimensions are 11.8 meters in length, 2.13 meters in width, and 2.18 meters in height, with a volume of 54 cubic meters.
- 40-foot High-Cube Container House: The external height is increased to 2.9 meters, and the internal height is raised to 2.72 meters, with a volume of 68 cubic meters, providing more vertical space.
- 45-foot High-Cube Container House: The internal dimensions are 13.58 meters in length, 2.34 meters in width, and 2.71 meters in height, with a volume of up to 86 cubic meters, suitable for scenarios requiring large spaces.
II. Special Types of Container Houses
- Open-Top Container Houses:
- 20-foot Open-Top Container: The internal dimensions are 5.89 meters in length, 2.32 meters in width, and 2.31 meters in height, with a volume of 31.5 cubic meters. The top can be opened, facilitating the hoisting of large equipment.
- 40-foot Open-Top Container: The internal dimensions are 12.01 meters in length, 2.33 meters in width, and 2.15 meters in height, with a volume of 65 cubic meters. The open-top design enhances loading and unloading flexibility.
- Flat-Rack Container Houses:
- 20-foot Flat-Rack Container: The internal dimensions are 5.85 meters in length, 2.23 meters in width, and 2.15 meters in height, with a volume of 28 cubic meters. The flat bottom is suitable for transporting overweight cargo.
- 40-foot Flat-Rack Container: The internal dimensions are 12.05 meters in length, 2.12 meters in width, and 1.96 meters in height, with a volume of 50 cubic meters. The reinforced bottom structure provides stronger load-bearing capacity.
III. Modular Container Houses
- Packing Container Mobile Homes: Based on standard containers as the basic units, they support horizontal splicing, vertical stacking, and cantilever design. The usable area can be expanded through hydraulic telescopic structures, enabling rapid construction from a single container to a building complex, suitable for commercial and homestay scenarios.
- Foldable Container Houses: The expanded dimensions are 6 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.59 meters in height. When folded, the height is only 39 to 45 centimeters, and the volume is compressed to 1/5 of the original size, facilitating transportation and storage.
- Expandable Container Houses: The basic specifications are 6 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height. They support horizontal or vertical expansion and splicing, flexibly adapting to different spatial requirements.
- Packing Container Houses: The standard dimensions are 6.05 meters in length, 2.99 meters in width, and 2.89 meters in height, with a self-weight of approximately 1.35 tons. They have a sturdy structure and are suitable for long-term fixed use scenarios.
