Standard Sizes of Container Houses

The standard sizes of container houses mainly include 20-foot, 40-foot standard containers, and 40-foot high cube containers, along with custom non-standard sizes, as detailed below:

I. International Standard Container Sizes

1. 20-foot Standard Container (20GP)
   The external dimensions are 6058×2438×2591mm, with an internal clear size of approximately 5867×2330×2350mm. These containers are commonly used for single-person offices, dormitories, or shops, with a load-bearing capacity of up to 25 tons. They offer compact space but are fully functional.
2. 40-foot Standard Container (40GP)
   The external dimensions are 12192×2438×2591mm, with an internal clear size of approximately 11998×2330×2350mm. Its area is twice that of a 20-foot container, making it suitable for partitioning into multi-functional spaces or multi-person dormitories. It is commonly found in temporary housing on construction sites or commercial exhibition halls.
3. 40-foot High Cube Container (40HQ)
   The external dimensions are 12192×2438×2896mm, with an internal clear size of approximately 11998×2330×2655mm. The height is increased by 305mm to meet scenarios with special ceiling height requirements, such as exhibition halls, sports buildings, or high-end residences.

II. Domestic General and Industry Custom Sizes

1. 6m×3m×2.8/2.9m
   This is the most common standard size in domestic construction sites, with an area of 18 square meters. It can accommodate 10 people and can also be used for functional modules such as kitchens and toilets. The export version has a reduced width of 2.4 meters to meet international transportation standards.
2. 3m×3m×2.8m
   A small container with an area of 9 square meters, often used for guard posts, tool warehouses, and other scenarios with low space requirements.
3. 7m×3m×2.8m
   A typical size for two-story container mobile homes, enhancing practicality by adding corridors and awnings. The indoor space is the same as that of a 6-meter container, but the functional partitioning is more flexible.

III. Custom Non-Standard Sizes
According to customer needs, the length can be extended to 3 meters, 6 meters, 8 meters, 12 meters, etc. The width options include 2.5 meters, 2.55 meters, 3 meters, and 4 meters, with a height range of 2.6 meters to 2.9 meters. Special door and window positions, partitions, and interior decorations can all be customized.
