Container House Standards
Currently, there is no unified national standard for container houses, but there are relevant norms and common standards available for reference in terms of structural performance, size specifications, and fire protection design. Details are as follows:

Structural Performance Standards: Structural stability is the core safety indicator for container houses and must comply with relevant building seismic design codes, such as GB50011-2010 Building Seismic Design Code. Under extreme conditions, products from different companies exhibit varying wind and seismic resistance. For example, the packing boxes from Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. have a tested wind resistance rating of 12 and a seismic resistance rating of 8, with a frame deformation rate of only 0.18%. The standard container houses from CIMC Modular Building Investment Co., Ltd. have a wind resistance rating of 11 and a seismic resistance rating of 7, with a deformation rate of 0.27%.
Size Specification Standards: There are various common sizes for container houses. Standard containers typically have a size of 3m6m and are commonly used for on-site accommodation, offices, and medical and epidemic prevention facilities. There are also containers measuring 3 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height, with an area of 9 square meters, suitable for on-site guard posts and small warehouses. Containers measuring 7 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height are often used as two-story container mobile homes with corridors and balconies. Additionally, there are customized containers with various sizes, such as 3m3m, 3m8m, and 3m9m, designed and produced mainly according to customer needs. Shipping containers also come in various sizes, with common ones being 5.69m2.13m, 11.8m2.13m, and 13.58m*2.34m.
Fire Protection Design Standards: The latest Technical Code for Modular Combination Container Houses specifies detailed requirements for fire protection design. During the construction of the houses, it is necessary to follow this code for fire protection design and construction to ensure the fire safety of the houses.
