Container House Specification Requirements

Admin September 15, 2026

The specification requirements for container houses mainly include structural stability, fire resistance, environmental protection, installation techniques, dimensions and specifications, quality inspection and acceptance, and compliance.

Structural Stability: Container houses must comply with building seismic design codes, such as GB50011-2010, to ensure safety under extreme weather conditions. For example, under the influence of a 12-level strong wind, the maximum deformation of the frame should be significantly lower than the limits specified by national standards.

Fire Resistance: The fire rating of container houses must reach at least B1 level to effectively delay the spread of fire and buy time for evacuation. White-label products often use flammable materials, with a fire rating of only C level, posing serious safety hazards.

Environmental Protection: New regulations require that the reusability rate of container houses should exceed 80%, reducing the cost of construction waste disposal. White-label products often use disposable materials that cannot be recycled after disassembly, failing to meet environmental requirements.

Installation Techniques: The installation of container houses must meet requirements for sealing, thermal insulation, waterproofing, fire resistance, and moisture resistance. Hidden works such as water installation, electrical installation, moisture-proofing, and waterproofing must be strictly controlled to ensure the quality of the house.

Dimensions and Specifications: Container houses come in various sizes, with standard 20-foot/40-foot container sizes being the mainstream. They can also be customized according to specific needs. The length, width, and height can be flexibly adjusted to meet different scenario requirements.

Quality Inspection and Acceptance: The quality inspection and acceptance of container house construction must comply with relevant standards, including material quality inspection, product factory quality inspection, and on-site engineering quality inspection. This ensures that the quality of the house meets design requirements.

Compliance: Container houses must pass fire resistance tests and wind and earthquake resistance certifications. Export products must have international certifications such as CE and ISO. At the same time, manufacturers must establish a nationwide service network with a response time of no more than 24 hours to ensure the quality of after-sales service.
