Materials for Container House Roof Panels

Admin September 17, 2026

Container house roof panels generally use materials such as color-coated steel sheets, aluminum-magnesium-manganese alloy sheets, and PU (polyurethane) sheets. Here is a detailed introduction to these materials:

Color-Coated Steel Sheets: These are building materials made from color-coated steel plates and are widely used for roof panels of container houses. They offer numerous advantages. Corrosion resistance is a key feature, allowing color-coated steel sheets to maintain stable performance for extended periods under various environmental conditions, reducing damage and replacement frequency due to corrosion. They also have good fire resistance, effectively preventing the spread of fire and enhancing the safety of container houses. Additionally, color-coated steel sheets provide thermal insulation and heat preservation, helping to maintain stable indoor temperatures and reduce energy consumption. Furthermore, they are aesthetically pleasing, available in a variety of colors to meet different architectural style requirements. There are also various types of color-coated steel sheets, such as three-in-one color-coated steel sheets, rock wool color-coated steel sheets, and polyurethane color-coated steel sheets, each with slightly different performance characteristics that can be selected based on specific needs.

Aluminum-Magnesium-Manganese Alloy Sheets: These are high-performance alloy aluminum sheets with characteristics such as corrosion resistance, fire resistance, and thermal insulation. Their lightweight nature reduces the overall weight of container houses, facilitating transportation and installation. At the same time, aluminum-magnesium-manganese alloy sheets have good wind and earthquake resistance, enhancing the stability of container houses in harsh environments. However, they also have some drawbacks, such as higher cost, which increases the construction cost of container houses, and a relatively shorter service life, requiring frequent maintenance to ensure stable performance.

PU Sheets: Also known as polyurethane sheets, they are made from polyurethane materials. They offer excellent thermal insulation, sound insulation, waterproofing, and fire resistance, effectively improving the comfort and safety of container houses. Their lightweight nature makes construction more convenient, reducing construction difficulty and duration. However, PU sheets also have some issues, such as higher cost and certain durability problems. Their service life is not as long as that of color-coated steel sheets, requiring attention to maintenance and care during use.

In addition, the material, thickness, and length of container roof panels can be adjusted according to actual needs. Common roof panel head shapes include round, square, and pointed to meet different design and usage requirements.
