Container House Roof Construction Method

Admin September 17, 2026

The construction of the roof of a container house adopts a layered approach, with the following specific steps:

First, lay the ceiling made of fiberboard. Fiberboard has good flatness and a certain degree of strength, providing basic support for the roof. Its relatively smooth surface also facilitates subsequent operations. During the laying process, ensure that the fiberboard pieces are tightly joined together to avoid gaps, ensuring the overall integrity and stability of the roof.

Next, cover a layer of plastic film barrier. This plastic film primarily serves as a waterproof and moisture-proof barrier, effectively preventing external moisture from penetrating into the interior of the container, protecting electrical equipment and the living environment from moisture damage. When covering, lay the plastic film flat on the fiberboard ceiling and secure the edges firmly to prevent loosening or displacement.

Then, install roof purlins. Roof purlins are important supporting components of the roof structure, and their edges must be sloped. This sloped design serves two important purposes: first, it facilitates roof drainage, allowing rainwater to flow quickly down the sloped purlins, preventing water accumulation and damage to the roof; second, it reserves holes for electrical wires, facilitating the subsequent laying and installation of wires. When installing roof purlins, ensure that their positions are accurate and the spacing is uniform to ensure even load distribution on the roof.

After that, frame the roof structure with end plates. End plates enhance the overall integrity and stability of the roof structure, providing protection and fixation. When installing end plates, ensure a tight connection with the roof purlins to ensure the entire roof structure is sturdy and reliable.

Finally, lay electrical wires. After completing the above steps, electrical wires can be laid in the reserved holes to supply power to electrical appliances inside the container. When laying electrical wires, follow relevant electrical safety regulations to ensure that the wire connections are firm and well-insulated, avoiding safety hazards such as electric leakage.
