Container House Rental Termination Agreement
The container house rental termination agreement should include information about both parties, the termination date, settlement of rent and deposit, house handover, and liability for breach of contract. Details are as follows:

I. Information about Both Parties
Clearly specify the detailed information of the lessor (Party A) and the lessee (Party B), including names or business names, ID numbers or unified social credit codes, contact addresses, and contact phone numbers, to ensure the legal validity of the parties and facilitate subsequent communication and accountability.
II. Termination Date
Clearly agree on the specific date when Party B will terminate the rental. This date marks the end of the rental contract, and Party B must complete the evacuation and handover of the house before this date. The actual termination date shall be the date when Party B completes the house handover and Party A accepts it as satisfactory, to avoid disputes arising from unclear handover times.
III. Settlement of Rent and Deposit
- Rent Settlement: Clearly specify the end date and amount of the rent already paid by Party B, and calculate the portion of the rent that Party B will no longer be responsible for from the actual termination date. After both parties have calculated and verified the amounts, determine the amount of the remaining rent that Party A should refund to Party B, as well as the payment time and method.
- Deposit Handling: State the amount of the deposit paid by Party B at the time of rental. If Party B completes the house handover in accordance with the agreement and has no breaches of contract, Party A should refund the full deposit to Party B within the specified working days and clarify the refund method.
IV. House Handover
- House Condition: Party B should ensure that all items in the house are cleared out, the house is kept clean and intact, and there is no damage to the walls, floors, doors, and windows. If there is any damage, Party B should be responsible for repairing it or compensating for it at the market price.
- Settlement of Expenses: Party B needs to settle all expenses incurred during the rental period, such as water and electricity bills, property management fees, etc. Party A has the right to deduct unsettled expenses from the deposit.
- Acceptance Process: Both parties shall jointly inspect the house on the agreed date. The inspection includes the integrity of facilities and equipment, cleanliness, etc. If the inspection is satisfactory, a handover list shall be signed. If any problems are found, Party B shall make rectifications as required.
V. Liability for Breach of Contract
Clearly define the breach situations of both parties and the corresponding compensation liabilities, such as the handling methods if Party B fails to terminate the rental or complete the handover on time, fails to pay the rent and expenses, or the house fails to meet the acceptance standards, to safeguard the seriousness of the agreement and the rights and interests of both parties.
